Here's a reason the SOX record isn't better than it should be that I haven't seen posted. JD and Bogey just aren't driving in runs. Of course, there's a couple other reasons, but I thought this should be mentioned.
The SOX and Cards have a great history against each other. Since 1946 they've met in 4 World Series with each winning 2. Their games won/lost in the 4 WS are 14-10 in favor of the SOX.
A. Wainwright 5-4 2.84ERA vs M. Wacha 4-1 2.33ERA
Wainwright's been good for a long time.
Warning: Arenado is 6 for 13 with 3 dingers against Wacha.
Go SOX!
The best thing I saw today during the game was Sale's body language in the dugout. The SOX have a good chance of adding one of the best pitchers in MLB to their rotation in the very near future. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.
I don't like the rule that Bobby Dee has to begin his at bats with an 0-2 count. I know the powers that be want to speed up the game, but that's not fair.

Don't play it again, Sam.
Exactly. I don't believe Cordero has embarrassed himself playing 1st base, in fact, like last night, he's made some damn nice plays there. I also believe that Ref and JBJ should platoon in RF, at least until Ref proves he can't play there effectively.
Ya mean Michael Cera? He was good portraying Chuck Barris in the movie CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND. but I don't believe he can catch.
Btw, hasn't VAZ been catching Pivetta?
