A manager is automatically tossed when he runs out of the dugout to argue a pitch. But it doesn't hurt to get your money's worth. Nobody did it better than Earl Weaver. But he had to turn his cap around before confronting the chUMP.

Lou Merloni needs to be full-time in the NESN booth. He's heads and shoulders above the other guys.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
As if there wasn't enough to post negatively about this team, it's become apparent we can't even count on the SOX closer to save games anymore. Even finishing .500 may prove a very difficult challenge.

If the Rays weren't from the shite state of Florida, I'd probably root for them to win the WS.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
A quality start by Bello as defined by MLB.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Stick that up your arse, McClanahan.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Giving credit where credit's due, Kike is probably one of the 3 best defensive CF's in baseball.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Oh, they also have a very good starting staff and an excellent defense.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
No one in the Rays' line-up stands out, except maybe Franco. They're just a well oiled machine where every player plays within himself.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I disagree. Nothing was hit hard; just mainly bad luck.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The 2nd great catch by a SOX OF'r today.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I believe the only drama in MLB this season is will Tampa finally win a WS. They're definitely built to do that. Plus, having the best manager in MLB doesn't hurt.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Kike can definitely play CF. Maybe it will also help improve his offense.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Maybe Devers misses Bogey more than anyone thought.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It's probably a good thing when the youngest starter on a team has the nastiest stuff.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Bad calls by the chUMP that either gives the advantage to the batter or the pitcher can definitely decide the outcome of ballgames. I can't believe I actually have to explain this.

McClanahan(LH) vs Bello(RH) Ref(LF) Dugo Turner Devers Masa(DH) Kike(CF) Reyes(SS) Wong Arroyo Arroyo was activated and to make room Tapia was DFA'd. Hopefully, Arroyo can give the SOX a couple of healthy weeks. Go SOX

And by re-signing Kike, one knew that promise was a lie.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, if bringing up how well JD, EO, and Wacha are doing this year, it's only fair to mention how poorly Bogey is doing.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
If a team is going to sign Kluber, that team better have a damn good defense.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
He's on first and was signed by Bloom.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
That the umpires' union has protected the likes of Angel all these years sends a clear message to other MLB umpires.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Has a rookie ever been the 'face' of the SOX?
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Might as well enjoy some more Kluber.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Oh, well, I guess he'll be DFA'd.
