  1. Dugo Turner(DH) Masa Devers Duvall Casas Kike Hamilton Wong Before anyone asks I have no idea why Duran isn't in the line-up.
  2. Kutter Crawford has an ERA+ of 117, which is 17 points above league average. Eovaldi's ERA+ is 165.
  3. Recently I discovered that Chris Martin has an ERA+ of 277. The league average is 100.
  4. Eovaldi vs Crawford Nate should receive a warm reception from the Fenway faithful this evening. And well-deserved because EO always gave 100% on the mound and is a great competitor. That being said let's kick his ass tonight. Duvall is the only SOX player that has faced him; Duvall has 3 AB's against him. Go SOX!
  5. I should have posted Fenway's slightly younger brother.
  6. Well, at least you didn't have to suffer watching Ort last night, so there's that.
  7. Thanks for the research. Bello's the future.
  8. I'll do my damndest, Vegas. Let's beat EO tomorrow night and build up momentum facing the terrible A's.
  9. The SOX would be the 2022 team or even worse.
  10. Come to think of it, I doubt there's many starters that even go 7 innings period. After his 25 pitch 1st inning Bello going 7 was really impressive.
  11. Good save by Kenley and a good win by the SOX.
  12. I'm pretty sure Texas fans also thank the Dodgers for making Seager available.
  13. Martin has been an awesome set-up reliever this season. Thank you Dodgers for making both Martin and Turner available.
  14. Having Pedro working with Bello during the offseason was definitely a plus for Bello. If one wants to be the best, learn from the best.
  15. Make that 7 innings. I'm not going to look this up, but I'm guessing there hasn't been too many starters this season that have gone 7 against the Rangers and only given up 2 runs. Great job by Bello!
  16. So Bello has given up 2 runs thru 6 innings against the best offense in MLB and this is all you have to post about his start?
  17. I think they meant the team because it would be mathematically impossible there could be 3 SS's with a worse OPS. Also, I doubt Hamilton has enough plate appearances to qualify. When the three guys in the booth are all talking at the same time, it's difficult sometimes to decipher what they mean. Btw, Wake was probably the most liked member of the SOX during his playing days, but, imho, as nice a guy as he doesn't negate the fact he's quite boring in the booth.
  18. Was it Hamilton or the SOX as a team that has the 4th worst OPS at SS?
  19. The good news about Hamilton is that Chang is due back very soon.
  20. Pitch count should be of concern. Btw, a Rangers/Braves WS would be quite interesting.
  21. Unless Casas is injured or sick it makes no sense at all. As for the Duvall/Duran headscratcher, maybe Cora gets the two confused. Both names do start with 'Du.'
  22. Moon, don't let Bello be aware of this. He'll have pressure enough facing this Texas line-up. I agree this is a big game, but at this point the rest of the schedule are all big games. Even the A's with the SOX shattered pitching staff won't be as easy as they normally would be.
