  1. Rescued A's player makes nice 1st impression. Liked his .810 OPS against lefties.
  2. Turner is a winner. He justs makes any team he's on better.
  3. Sale was fortunate it was just a double.
  4. Matz vs Sale A battle of 2 left handers. Hopefully, the SOX can initiate another winning streak. The only thing I'm certain of regarding today's game is ticket prices are as low as $52.00. Go SOX!
  5. The A's situation is understandable. The Rays' situation is deplorable as is their ballpark.
  6. Do you think Oakland fans like their team? I watched part of an A's game at Oakland recently. There might have been 200 people in attendance and they were all sitting behind homeplate.
  7. Based on the regular season, the BRUINS 'should have' won the Cup. When things end badly, 'should have' will, most likely, always be part of the sentence.
  8. Tough loss, but like Moon said, Paxton was a bright spot.
  9. The Cards were overdue to get hot. Unfortunately, they couldn't wait until they left Boston.
  10. The umpiring has been s***** for both teams. Angel Hernandez is the face of MLB umpiring.
  11. Overall? Does that include Paxton?
  12. Maybe the SOX powers that be should schedule their pregame festivities on a night when the celebrant isn't available to close.
  13. This has been a fun team to watch.
  14. Bernardino has been a, wait for it, pleasant surprise. The guys in the booth are talking about Wink as if he was going to be perfect every time out there. Wakefield, at least, should know better.
  15. I'm predicting Devers hits a dinger. Law of averages.
  16. Luck plays a major part in baseball. Whether it's good or bad.
  17. Bleier's last name is harder to spell than his pitches are to hit.
  18. Watching these games on NESN is similar to watching something on Public TV on donation night.
  19. Looking at this Cards' line-up and then looking at their record; their pitching has to be a lot worse than Boston's.
  20. Wink has been no mystery so far. I guess he was due like most relievers are.
  21. A very good debut by Paxton. I doubt anyone here expected this performance.
