  1. Another f'ing chUMP who deserves a foul tip to the mask.
  2. The batter was called out so I guess it really was a catch. You shouldn't pick on people who are vertically challenged.
  3. It wasn't a circus catch even though the game is being played in a circus tent.
  4. My apologies. Cora would make one hell of a manager at a Day Care Center.
  5. 3-0. The SOX have the Rays right where they want them.
  6. Abreu in CF and Rafaela at SS and all Kutter can think is "thank you, Cora."
  7. Well, the SOX signed Price and that wasn't much bang for the buck.
  8. Damn you Cash for putting a different CF in the game.
  9. I don't blame the Rays being careful with Casas.
  10. Looks like the league has discovered Devers has problems with high in the zone fast balls. Not sure Devers was aware where the pitch was becuase it appeared his eyes were closed.
  11. Actually, the SOX are a perfect example of a hot and cold team where an opposition team could easily play against at the right or wrong time.
  12. Timing is everything in a 162 game season. You're gonna run into eventual bad teams at the wrong time. Otoh, you can also run into good teams when they're not playing at their normal level. In a perfect season these two things even out, but usually not.
  13. The elephant in the SOX room isn't Masa's play in LF. It is starting pitching. Imho, if Bloom fails to pick-up a couple of decent starters for next year, then the SOX will be breathing fumes in the AL East again.
  14. The sweep would be much more achievable obviously if Devers could get out of his slump.
  15. Considering that this is his 1st year in MLB, plus living in a new country, I'd say he's done quite well. I expect him to be even better next season.
  16. I believe Casas has the work habit to make himself into, at least, an average defensive 1st baseman, which combined with his offense would be quite acceptable.
  17. What you say is true regarding today's game, but for the whole season the Rays have been better in all four things, which is reflected in their W/L record compared to the SOX.
