Dumb ass Girardi farts out of his mouth that Soto is having a better year than Devers. Maybe, stupid, it's because Soto bats right before Judge.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Timely hitting? Never heard of it.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Thank goodness the Yankems only two good hitters weren't up that inning.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Great play by Rafaela and a great job by Wink.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Relief is just a swallow away.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Getting the Yankem feed. Wondered how YES could find someone worse than Paul O'Neil. Well, they found Joe Girardi.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Scored a hit? What a joke.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Ref owns Cortes the Killer.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Yankems better hope that neither Judge or Soto get injured, because that would cut their total offense in half.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Masa's drive would have been 3 rows deep in the Yankem's sandlot.

Lead off SOX double that didn't score. How rare is that?
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The bottom starts right after Judge.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Three SOX pitchers' extensions that failed miserably that I remember are Josh Beckett, Matt Barnes and Chris Sale. Will Bello be the 4th? Stay tuned.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The pitching match up definitely favors the Yankems.

Pivetta's like a box of chocolates; one never knows what you're gonna get from him from start to start. He's made a career of it.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Heard today that the SOX FO is the seriously looking at the Cubs' Jameson Taillon, a 32 year old RH, who's signed thru 2025.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm guessing Criswell will be moved to the BP. Pivetta is the only SOX starter who's proven to have the stamina to pitch a complete season. Tha main question I have regarding Paxton is will he be able to finish the season?

Cortes(LH) vs Bello Duran Refsnyder Wong Devers O'Neill Masa Gonzalez Rafaela Westbrook Time to turn the ship around or it may end up another Titanic season. Go SOX!

I believe I'd heard that if a player is picked up after being DFA'd, the team, in this case the Dodgers, would have 5 days to request a trade for him. That's what I thought I'd heard, so I may have misunderstood.

The SOX FO is in serious discussions with the Dodgers regarding soon to be DFA'd James Paxton. Start saving for your SOX PO tickets. When there's a DFA, the SOX FO circles him like a vulture. Anyway, it won't cost the SOX much whether Paxton is good or bad and they do need a LH starter.

Unfortunately for Devers he won't be facing Cole this weekend. Cole is pitching against the Mets and taking a pretty good pounding. 5-2 Mets in the 5th.

Hey, MOON, when does Durans's current contract expire?
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Morons on the Rockies' feed said no one was thrown out in that benches clearing brawl. Maybe they should check the definition of 'brawl.'
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'd definitely have him pitch in a game before Mr Anderson and Horn.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
At least Duran's piling up some stats. He now leads the league in doubles and triples.
