  1. If I had to pick who I thought was the greatest manager during my lifetime, I would easily choose Weaver. He knew the rulebook better than most chUMPS and he never missed anything happening on the field. I believe Earl initiated more protest games than anyone. He didn't give a crap if his players liked him or not, and many didn't, especially super arrogant Jim Palmer. During some games Weaver alone was worth the price of admission. During arguments with a chUMP he would peck the chUMPS nose with the bill of his cap. After getting fined for that habit, Earl would turn his cap around before going 10 with the chUMPS.
  2. Murphy and Bernardino have both been pleasant surprises, so far. Ort and Garza define the word CRAPshoot.
  3. There's a few better, like Bochy, and a few worse, like Boone.
  4. Dunning is that pitcher that many define as giving the batter a comfortable 0-4 day.
  5. Almost as enjoyable as a fan who believes his manasger can do no wrong and defends him at every turn. Cora's an average manager; no better or no worse than most.
  6. No one here complained about Bernardino, except for Cora removing him so early. There's no reasonable excuse for bringing in Ort based on his history with the SOX. I do understand that this injury prone team hasn't made Cora's job easier, but there's certain moves he makes that are definitely worth discussing.
  7. How does he improve against LH's if he doesn't face them? Please ask your friend Cora. I'd be interested in his reply.
  8. An extremely weak batter with excellent speed like Hamilton should attempt a bunt at every plate appearance.
  9. True, but not useless for 4 years going on 5.
  10. Excellent D by Dugo. He's a hell of a ballplayer.
  11. Actually, the Rangers are ninth in total PR(198 mil) which is only 18 mil more than the SOX have spent. Luckily for Texas they don't have millions spent on players not healthy enough to play.
  12. Texas is the rare team so far this season that spent a ton of money and is getting successful results.
  13. On most teams Duran would play everyday, but most teams don't have a 'genius' for a manager.
  14. Unfortunately, Good Will doesn't allow for returns.
  15. To prevent those slow rolling singles, Ort would be the guy you want on the mound.
  16. Cora playing the insanity game. Bringing in Ort and expecting different results. Is Ort also in possession of compromising photos?
  17. 4 doubles, 1 single, and 1 triple in last 6 AB's. Hungry Like The Wolf indeed!
  18. Duran Dugo Masa Devers Turner(DH) Casas Arroyo Hamilton Wong The SOX better have their bats working overtime today because the Rangers' offense is 2nd to none in MLB. They have 4 players on pace for 100 or more RBI at this point in the season.
  19. The SOX have already won the season series against them.
  20. In defense of Kike his failures haven't been caused from lack of effort.
  21. I'm pretty sure that's the best response a Vegas post ever got.
  22. You can have tomorrow off for doing such a great job, plus the SOX aren't playing.
