    Good point. I was focusing on his offense, but you are correct. The time he saves at the plate he more than makes up for in the field.

    Story could become the SOX version of Ozzie Smith. A weak hitting, very good defensive SS with good speed. He'll just have to learn to do a back flip when he takes his position.

    Based on league BA's, a reverse shift should be used for most batters.

    Masa is 5th or 6th in BA in the AL. More of a dis to the batters in the AL than a compliment to Masa.

    With MLB so concerned with shortening the time of games, it should give an award to a player who has most contributed to speeding up the game. My vote would go to Devers.

    Pivetta has been with the SOX 3 full seasons and I can't remember one time he wasn't available to pitch. I'd consider that an 'iron man.' Last 3 seasons starting in 2021; 31 games, 33 games, 38 games.

    Pivetta, the 'iron man' of the SOX, pitched a great game tonight. The man is a competitor.

    The SOX can still prevent the O's from having home field advantage if the O's play the Dodgers in the WS.

    With Turner probably not returning next season the SOX will have only two RH batters who present any threat at the plate at that point. I'm pretty sure the SOX will try to re-sign Duvall. The new GM will have to employ a lot of plaster to fill the many holes of this SOX team. Good luck with that.

    The only reason to watch tonight's game is to see how many more consecutive innings the SOX can go w/o scoring a run.

    Having the SOX start next season on a 10 game West coast trip is similar to beating a dead horse.

    Cora will be back as manager next season according to Sam Kennedy. It could have been worse, Cora could have been given an extension.

    But one cannot ignore Raffi's leadership qualities. Of course, I'm kidding.
