  1. He's very relaxed at the plate. Same as he's been since he joined the SOX. And yes, batting slumps do happen.
  2. He's not as pretty as Acuna, but he's pretty enough.
  3. Obviously he's in a bad slump. It happens to the best of them. He'll get out of it.
  4. As pathetic as Dugo has been of late, that's how good Casas has been.
  5. Good outing by Bello. Just got overmatched by the Braves' ACE.
  6. Devers should write a book called Just Hit The Damn Ball.
  7. DEVERS DEliVERS! That was definitely not a strike he swung at and it doesn't really seem to matter.
  8. Strider had bad outings in his previous two starts. He's too good to have 3.
  9. A lot of good hitters will have 0 fors against this 24 year old.
  10. Strider has the best stuff I've seen this season.
  11. He's the type of player who participates in a team sport, but very rarely uses the word 'we.'
  12. Acuna's antics on the field make him an easy player to root against.
  13. All the credit goes to the SOX, who could have thrown in the towel when almost half the starters went down. Instead, most everyone in the BP stepped up and the offense has become more consistent. All we can hope is the SOX stay in PO contention until they get some pitchers back. If they can accomplish that, they will be very difficult to knock out of the PO's.
  14. It won't be much longer, but no one can predict about the productivity.
  15. When Turner plays 2nd base, this SOX line-up can match up with any in MLB. Of course, I'm speaking offensively, although the defense has improved. SOX need to cut down on stupid base running.
  16. BTW, Lorenzen's remaining salary for this season is around 3.4 MIL.
  17. I believe having one BP opener is sustainable until Sale, Whitlock and Houck return. Hopefully, Bloom can acquire one proven starter ASAP. Note: The Tigers' Lorenzen would be a good place to start. How do you feel about that RH?
  18. Strider(RH) vs Bello Bello will need a bounce back performance tonight after his previous less than stellar start. The Braves will have another good RH pitcher starting tonight. May the SOX continue abusing these RH's. Tonight's game will be televised on ESPN. Don't blame me; I'm only the messenger. Go SOX!
  19. I like your research, MOON, but in the words of a very smart person, whose name I do not know, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Since he's been in the BP, he's been his best as a SOX. Also, if Cora was going to start Pivetta, he would have done it by now.
  20. C'mon, Max. I've disagreed with some of d-money's posts, just like other posters have disagreed with mine. The way I see it is d-money loves the SOX and sometimes lets his emotions get carried away. My only advoce to d-money would be just count to ten before you post. Sometimes that helps.
  21. I promised not to get my hopes up again this season, but this team is a SOX teaser.
