    Watching the Dodgers/Mets game and saw this interesting stat: Dodgers' batters 1-4 have a combined BA of .310 which is 1st in the NL. Dodgers' batters 5-9 have a combined BA of .206 which is last in the NL.

    Which equates to 18-9 against teams with a losing record. That seriously defines mediocre.

    At this point in the season Houck is the SOX 1st ACE since Sale back in 2018.

    What's more remarkable about his quickness to 1st base is he's batting from the right side.

    Regarding the SOX, R.I.S.P. should be shortened to R.I.P.

    Run support for most of the season has been anemic for Houck.
