  1. Too bad the idiot didn't throw it a little higher.
  2. Masa, right now, is the SOX best hitter. Casas has also looked impressive tonight.
  3. Definitely his best start of the season considering the opposition. OTOH, O's announcers are gushing over Povich's start tonight. Maybe they should look at the SOX history against LH's before they get too orgasmic.
  4. So many excellent defensive outfielders in MLB. Might be a big reason BA's are down.
  5. The O's started a LH. That explains the SOX not hitting. I don't know what the O's problem is.
  6. Jim Palmer: "Rafaela is probably a better centerfielder than SS." Yes, Jim, Rafaela is a better centerfielder than SS. You arrogant boring A-hole.
  7. LH's are Kryptonite to SOX batters, even this clown.
  8. It's actually wonderful he's doing so badly with the Yankems.
  9. Speaking of big money pitchers, the Yankems signed Rodon for 28mil/year thru 2028. Today Rodon pitched 3 innings, giving up 4 runs and throwing 85 pitches. In his 2nd year with the Yankems Rodon's ERA was 5.06 before today's game. Last night I posted that most of the SOX BP were slugs. Rodon is what one would call a 'high-priced slug.' Btw, his W/L record is totally misleading, which is not unusual in MLB.
  10. Developing their own pitching at the farm was never a strong point for the SOX no matter who the GM was. In the past when the SOX were a big market franchise, the FO would acquire big name pitchers thru FA or trades. So, I agree with MOON's critique of Bloom. He did a pretty good job considering the restrictions of spending big money.
  11. On a positive note a shout out to Masa. It's about time we all realize just what an excellent striker of the ball he is. Btw, he hustles on every play, and that can't be said about a lot of MLB players.
  12. I wonder how many save appearances Kenley has had in his career when his team has scored 12 runs?
  13. Only the nights they have a game. I'm being too cruel. 7 runs would probably be more accurate, with a few 10 or more run games thrown in.
  14. If you like offense, ya gotta love the SOX. If you like pitching and defense; need I go any further?
  15. Holiday is having a holiday tonight. 12 runs and Cora still has to use Martin. Has any team led the league in runs scored and still didn't make the PO's? The SOX have got a good chance at doing both.
  16. A mound visit from Bailey: Bailey: "I'm only out here because Cora told me to." Garcia: "So you can't give me any words of advise?" Bailey: "Have you given any thought to broadcasting?"
  17. With this BP, I wouldn't be looking forward to many shut down innings.
  18. I believe the SOX should have DFA'd Garcia and inserted D. Smith into the BP.
  19. Sgt Garcia has been a great pick-up. I'd given him an 'F' so far, but I was being too kind.
  20. The SOX offense is asking themselves "Is 11 enough?"
  21. The SOX offense is saying to themselves "Is 11 enough?"
