I will admit that Devers turning Cole into a limp noodle is Devers' most saving grace this season.

At least Masa can hit. I still firmly believe the SOX will trade Masa after the season. Very true.

Btw, much like a pitcher's W/L record, a batter's OPS can be a misleading stat.

One of the rare times a SOX lead-off double didn't score. For the SOX 'timely-hitting' is a just a rumor.

Was hoping Cora would shut the 'injured' Devers down and bring up one of the top prospects. IOW, give me something interesting to watch.

Devers has been swinging and missing high(above the waist)fastballs most of the season.

In fact, if the SOX can improve by one game each forthcoming season, they should make the playoffs in 2035.

BTW, the 2nd homer Pivetta gave up was in the same area where Beni made that great catch during the 2018 season.

I agree. Having that one game improvement would be important to the franchise and the fans.
