  1. Kelly trying to get his stats more in line with the rest of the less than stellar BP.
  2. Story takes advantage of the Little League RF fence.
  3. Obviously I like the guy, but I'm guessing he's gonna be traded during the offseason.
  4. If Masa's legs were only 4 inches longer, he'd probably be the SOX best player.
  5. W/O Soto and Judge contributing, this Yankem line-up is as weak as any in the AL, except the White Sox.
  6. Very nice job by Fitts, which will probably be wasted. Not unusual for what's being going on lately.
  7. Lemon TV+ is in love with the chUMPIRE's view, which actually sux.
  8. The POS behind HP has definitely favored the Yankems' pitcher.
  9. Liam Hendricks has been shutdown for the season. Hopefully, he'll be able to participate in 2025. If the Twinkies weren't such a mediocre team, like the SOX, the SOX could also be shutting down Houck and Devers.
  10. Lat night Devers made two excellent defensive plays. For the last 3 weeks or so he has been MIA offensively. If he's too 'injured' to hit, why have him in the line-up?
  11. One last thing. A week or so ago I posted that I definitely didn't want the SOX FO to re-sign O'Neill. i'm now leaning the other way. Give O'Neill a QO and see where it goes from there. If he accepts the QO or decides on FA, I'm fine either way.
  12. Very true. And another good pitching performance was wasted again.
  13. There was no reason to pitch to Soto. The winning run was on 2nd because the anemic SOX offense didn't score in the top of the tenth. I believe the Yankems would have scored anyway, but, like I've already posted many times, not walking Soto was just plain bad managing.
  14. An important part of the equation is that Judge has been in a slump for the last couple of weeks. When the SOX didn't score in the top of the 10th, I'd pretty much turned my mind off in the bottom of the 10th.
  15. A RH pitching to a good hitting LH with 1st base open is just plain stupid.
  16. As I've already posted walking Soto was the right move. Don't change your position when you're absolutely correct.
  17. I believe what dgale posted was the right move. I credit dgale that his brain was still functioning in the 10th. Both my brain and Cora's had already stopped functioning.
  18. That makes sense, and I feel stupid not even thinking of that. I guess Cora and I are just plain stupid. BTW, a couple of weeks ago Cora made a statement that he was gonna manage the last games of the season as if they were PO games. Tonight didn't look like PO managing.
  19. Funny, I've seen nothing in Devers' swings or defense that display a sore shoulder(s). What I have seen is that he stunk offensively in the last month of last season, also. I'm not saying he isn't a little banged up, but 90% of everyday players are banged up at this time of the season.
  20. If I was to give this SOX team a nickname for this season, Special K's would be as good as any.
  21. I agree. He kind of plays chess with the batters.
