    Getting the Miami feed and learned that in last night's game the combined BA with RISP was the lowest in MLB in 23 years.

    If my math is correct, in their last 53 games the Sox have a run differential of +106.

    As most of you already know on September 1st MLB teams are allowed 2 extra players. No reason not to wait until then to bring up Story and IKF.

    Players who are good defensively at their position want to play the full game, not just 4 at bats as a DH. Otoh, there are players who were born to be DH's. The first one that comes to mind is Devers. The problem with Devers is he had convinced himself that he was a good defensive 3rd baseman despite the fact that every stat said the complete opposite.

    For awhile it looked like neither team wanted to win. There's no weirder team sport than baseball.
