    Seeing the size of the M's 3rd baseman's glove, and he still couldn't catch it reminded me of the early days of baseball when the fielding gloves were about the same size as the fielder's hand. That may have helped explain the huge batting averages at the time.

    I heard last night on MLB that the league is discussing adding rules concerning the 'shift.' Maybe like a team can only use it a certain number of times during the game. Man, this game is getting complicated.
