  1. POM=Experiment in terror.
  2. One thing's for sure. This Stroman has better stuff than any starter on the Yankems. His stuff sure doesn't equate to his ERA.
  3. To make everyone's life easier, just call him LAZ.
  4. After that 4 game series, I don't mind the day off. Unfortunately, as expected, the lowly White Sox are losing to the F'ing Yankems.
  5. Instead of the word 'comfort', perhaps the word 'trust' would be more appropriate.
  6. JBJ's .814 really stands out. MOON, you're definitely in the numbers racket.
  7. Btw, I really hope your scenario is right.
  8. Springer just went on the 10 DL today(thumb injury).
  9. Based on your scenario, Houston would end up playing 52 games(including Boston) against playoff teams. The SOX would have played @27. If the Yankems make the playoffs(which is probably more realistic) then Houston would have played 40 games against playoff teams and Boston would have played the same number.
  10. So UZR has JBJ ranked 12th. IOW, whatever the hell UZR is wants me to believe that there's 11 better defensive OF's in baseball. I think I'll just trust my lying eyes. Question; are these rankings strictly based on defense?
  11. True, but I think you know what I meant. I just should have said the SOX will have to beat the Astros.
  12. POM stands out like a sore arm.
  13. I believe that for the SOX to reach the WS they will have to go thru Houston.
  14. Update: The SOX, who lead the league in just about everything, do not lead in injuries, which I thought they did. Nope, the leader in injuries is the Astros.
  15. What kind of broken clock is never right? Answer: A Maddork clock.
  16. If Cora had failed as a manager at this point, I doubt many of us would have posted to have Farrell back.
  17. And the worst starting performance was by Johnson, who struck out 11 in 5 innings.
  18. I'm pretty sure that Girardi would have walked Beni in the 10th.
  19. Both of Chapman's blown saves as a Yankem have been against the SOX. Let's hope this trend continues.
  20. Boone may have a short career as Yankem manager. And you made a great point. I completely forgot that JBJ would be batting after Beni. It appears Boone also forgot.
  21. SOX off tomorrow and the Yankems have to take a sad flight to Chi town to play the lowly White Sox tomorrow. Let's hope this choker effects their play.
  22. Another plus in regards to winning this game is that there's less reason to rush Sale back into the rotation. This could pay big dividends in October.
  23. A very good point that tends to be forgotten during the season.
  24. Btw, we have to extend THUNDER'S contract.
