  1. Maybe X-man can do it again for the 3rd straight game. If not, the SOX are in big trouble.
  2. I mentioned that last night. All bad hitters should, at least, know how to bunt.
  3. No, but I have counted the number of hits for the SOX. It's 1 and that was a while ago.
  4. It's like before he even gets to the plate the count is 0-2.
  5. It's obvious Holt couldn't have done better tonight than Nunez or Swihart.
  6. One would think that Pedey would harp at Bogey not to slide into 1st.
  7. Ty couldn't play today with these new Nancy rules.
  8. No player liked to slide more than Ty Cobb and he never slid into 1st base. It's also a good way to injure a hand. Right, Pedey?
  9. Sliding into 1st is a reflection of a lack of base running intelligence.
  10. Pepe LeBlanc making the SOX stink like skunks tonight.
  11. Ok, the SOX will throw in Swihart.
  12. Could the SOX get pain in the ass Gordon in a trade for pain at the plate Nunez? No? I didn't think so.
  13. If I was picking players from the SOX for the All-Star game at this point I would go with Betts, JD, Sale, and Kimbrel. Because Kelly isn't a closer, he probably won't be chosen, although, at this point in the season, he deserves to be.
  14. To cover my ass on this post maybe they will surprise me.
  15. It's good to have many RH hitters against a LH opposing pitcher. The problem with the SOX is Nunez and Swihart aren't hitters.
  16. I agree, but I would love to see the SOX go after Britton.
  17. This was the kind of game where the SOX needed their 2 best relievers to win. Neither was in the game.
  18. Moreland will get hot again and provide offense, but then there will be the cold spells. Hot cold hot cold, ad nauseam.
  19. Barnes was throwing 98 so I doubt there's any physical problem. Like someone earlier mentioned, 98 with no movement has a name in baseball. It's called batting practice.
  20. A 'noonie' is actually a good thing. A Nunez is not.
  21. It appears that the SOX suffered jet lag in 8 of the 9 innings.
  22. Moreland is a .250 batter. No one s/b surprised with his regression.
  23. It's always a quagmire. Did Kelly tell Cora he wouldn't be able to pitch tonight? Or did Cora make that decision. Cora's gonna rest these players right into a WC situation.
  24. I guess Kelly wasn't available tonight. The bridge to Kimbrel is very creaky when Kelly is not involved. In fact, there hardly is a bridge.
