  1. Back spasms in 92 degrees weather? I'm not a doctor, but I did eat at Taco Bell once.
  2. Last night POR drove in 3 runs; tonight Nunez drives in 3 runs. Not dissing Nunez, but that is pretty strange.
  3. What's with all the stars and stripes? Am I missing something?
  4. Yesterday I stopped defending Kelly; today I'll stop dissing Nunez.
  5. You don't see or get to say that a lot.
  6. I knew putting Nunez in the line-up was a good idea.
  7. Note to Cora (I don't know why I even bother): Just because the sticker on Holt says utility player doesn't mean he can't play more than one game in a row. Btw, is this your idea or DD's?
  8. It appears there's no 'thinking' involved when it comes to this.
  9. Well, at least I'll be getting tonight's game on NESN. Xtra innings on certain days, based on the schedule, gives the viewer the choice of home or away.
  10. Great to see Nunez back in the line-up after Holt had 3 hits last night. Does Cora's wife know that her husband and Nunez are dating?
  11. The best way to deal with MADDORK is to just ignore him. He's the kind of slug that when he's asked if he has a girlfriend, he points at his hand.
  12. Yes. And tonight's game starts at 6:05.
  13. Btw, in the SOX's last 3 WS's they have a record of 12-2 against the NL. And since 1997, the year inter league play started, the SOX have the best winning percentage in the AL against the NL. They're also #1 in run differential by a large margin.
  14. Btw, Brian Johnson is pitching tonight vs T.Roark. Game time is 6:05.
  15. We can all speculate on chocking and clutch, but one thing is certain, the SOX own the NL. There's no way to explain this phenomenon other than the fact it's been going on for a long time.
  16. Price tired them out last night.
  17. As of tonight, the SOX have played more road games (46) than any team in the AL.The next closest is 42. The Yankems have played 38.
  18. Two pieces of good news: 1)The Braves are leading the Yankems 5-3 and 2)the Yankems have a lot more road games remaining than the SOX.
  19. I never joke about Cora, but he does cause me to scratch my head a lot.
  20. WIth E-rod pitching his normal 5 innings the SOX will need somebody else.
  21. Cora will probably bench Brock for that.
  22. I don't know if it's randomness, but the SOX success rate against NL teams has been unreal for quite a while. Guaranteed, if the SOX reach the WS, they will beat any NL team they face.
