    Actually, I don't think something is overpriced if you are voluntarily paying the asking price. However, one may not get what they were paying for. When one buys tickets for a sporting event, it's always a crapshoot, but the home team thats profiting from those ticket sales should make every effort to put a team on the field that has a chance to win. This is not always the case.

    Well, they overpaid to see some SOX offense and they got cheated on that also. Lately, the SOX offense has been MIA.

    101 wins and this BP just doesn't equate. Even Einstein would be hard pressed to come up with an explanation.

    The two things on the SOX that have been consistently good all season is their defense, which, if Devers' throwing errors were removed, would be #1 in the league and their starting pitching.

    The elephant in the room is the SOX offense. Or lack of same. They'd better figure it out before the end of September or it will be a short October.

    Johnson doing a good job. Don't know why he didn't start. I'm sure Cora had his reasons. Actually, I'm hardly ever sure of Cora's reasonings.

    Look at the BP; look at the holes in the line-up and one wonders how 101 wins came to be. Simple answer: large number of s***** teams in the league. Sadly, none of those s***** teams will be in the playoffs.

    Of the AL teams going into the playoffs right now, the SOX have a winning record against only one-the Yankems.

    The SOX BP takes away a lot of wins from the starters. Workman, who pitched to one batter, gets the win. He's now 5-0.

    My choice would be 7 relievers and SWI, Holt, Pearce, Devers, and Vaz on the bench. SWI would also provide good pinch running.

    In the playoffs Wright could be used similarly to how Tito used Miller last year.
