    The SOX are 18-4 when E-rod (aka BP killer) starts. Not surprisingly, E-rod has only 7 quality starts this season. SOX average 6 runs when he starts.

    I wouldn't be surprised if the SOX reach the WS and I wouldn't be surprised if the SOX were eliminated in the 1st round.

    The Yankems play Tampa after this series and the Rays will provide tougher competition. It would have been nice to clinch in front of Yankem fans, but I doubt that will happen. Let's just hope the SOX don't lose HFA before the season's over.

    With this BP the best way for Cora to determine who should come in is by putting each BP pitcher's name in a hat, except for Kimbrel, and pulling a name from the hat. It will be just as effective as Cora sitting there and thinking about it.

    As i've posted previously, not one of the AL teams the SOX have feasted on this year to win 100+ games will be in the playoffs.

    Actually it does matter because there's no switch to turn on an offense. This offense has been mostly weak since the ASB and there's no hint at this point that it's gonna turn around in 2 weeks.

    Since Price joined the SOX, he is 0-5 at Yankem Stadium. His ERA is over 11 and OBA is .407.

    You'll get no thinking outside the box with Cora. You can take that to the bank.

    Hollywood is looking for a new Superman. Could Stanton be their man? No acting skills required; just look good with a cape.

    At this exact point in time, the Rays are the best team in baseball. Their sweeping of the SOX was no fluke.

    Pathetic. Pearce, although a SSS, has a better BA against RH's than Moreland.

    Either Cora lied by saying Betts was ready to play or Cora is a moron. Either choice is believable.

    He definitely wasn't the lone ranger tonight. Poor job of hitting was the theme of this game.

    Oh well, the pitcher didn't throw it into CF. Damn, they tried to lose, but the SOX wouldn't let them.

    One thing I'll say about Cora; if he fails down the line as a manager, he would make an excellent manager of a retirement home. Everyone will get a lot of rest.
