    I was right. The SOX scored 7 runs, actually 8. I was also correct when I posted I wasn't sure 7 runs would be enough. Winner winner, chicken dinner.

    SWI has been a bright spot with his bat. Got to give him more playing time. Whether at catcher or 1st base.

    Moreland's 3 run homer remains the only highlight so far on this road trip.

    I fondly remember the 1st game of this long road trip. The SOX had a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd with Sale pitching.

    Thankfully, no one here has used the excuse 'jet lag' for this s*** storm.

    And the Twins didn't win the WS in 1979. They weren't even in it.

    It's gonna take a while for Johnson to get his ERA back to a respectable level.

    I guess in Baltimore it doesn't matter. They get as many patrons on a Thursday as they do on a Friday.

    I don't know if those 11 games were played in 11 days by the Twins. I posted this games ago, but MLB really went out of their way to make it tough for the SOX to repeat. However, there is no excuse for this level of s*** baseball by this well-paid team.

    Seriously, in the last 100 years of baseball only the 1980 Twins ever started the season on an 11 game road trip, prior to the SOX this year.
