    I've made many bad choices in my life, but not purchasing Xtra Innings just to watch the SOX and this joke of a season was one of my better decisions. Devers and Beni both may have peaked early in their careers.

    Everyone pitched very well tonight. Even Brewer. Perez has definitely been a pleasant surprise so far this whatever it is.

    I remember when Will hit 3 dingers in a game against, I believe, Toronto, and almost hit a 4th.

    I miss Remy. Always liked him.

    SOX off tomorrow and then 3 against Toronto and then followed by 4 against Tampa. It appears I won't receive a televised game until the 14th when the SOX play the Yankems. MLB network may surprise me though like they did tonight, but I tend to doubt it. Oh, well, not a big deal.

    Also good to see the SOX are the team with the 5 runs for a change.

    True, but at least the NHL is doing this planning of the season better than the MLB or the NBA. Not surprising though, because I've always felt that the NHL was the best organized of the four major team sports.

    Pasternak missing? He's been on the ice these last two games, although like the other 2 guys on the 1st line, he does appear to be 'missing' at times.

    I'm gonna refrain from using 'reverse locks' too often during games. They shouldn't be abused.

    Yup, like when I compared the SOX offense to a Charlie Chaplin movie, and Verdugo immediately hit a dinger.

    Rays have had lead-off batter on base 5 times in 6 innings. Pretty sure this wasn't part of the pre-game plan.

    Yeah, I apologized for that stupid post earlier. I won't be berating Perez again this season.

    MC and Moreland platooning at 1st has been one of the few SOX strongpoints so far.

    Hopefully, when the SOX play the Nats, they'll get to face Scherzer.

    Toronto will have home ice advantage throughout the Eastern playoffs.

    First deGrom and now Yarbrough. SOX seem to hit well against elite pitching. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot of that around.

    Tampa is the team to beat. Of course, they were supposed to be the team to beat last season and that didn't turn out well for them.

    2nd good start in a row for Perez. He is definitely a pitcher and not a thrower. He spots his stuff very well and at different speeds. I'm impressed.

    Perez got the lead-off guy out. We may be in trouble.
