  1. On the KC feed they're interviewing the Asst. GM, who is trying to explain KC's rebuilding plan. I guess the GM of the team is at the local strip club, looking for prospects.
  2. Are you implying that the SOX closer by committee isn't working?
  3. I'm guessing the Cubs need a closer. They must not have a committee.
  4. Before anyone says it again. No, there's nothing wrong with JD's back.
  5. Down the road Betts may wish he had taken that giant contract the SOX offered him.
  6. I'm hoping Chavis is coachable, unlike JBJ.
  7. Chavis is strong enough to reduce that over hard swing, which makes his head fly away from the ball.
  8. Chavis I've noticed doesn't watch the ball hit his bat. When I played baseball, I had the same problem. If it continues, it won't provide a long career.
  9. That wasn't even close. These umps need service dogs.
  10. KC feed fact: Beni has a lifetime average of .345 with RISP. This is 2nd only to Tony Gwinn since 1950. This is based on a minimum of 250 AB's.
  11. Nunez actually broke the SOX solo HR streak last night.
  12. I have no problem with Nunez pinch hitting tonight.
  13. Maybe I should have said the scheduling is great if one is retired.
  14. To the few of us who are watching the hockey PO's, the scheduling is great. BRUINS play at 8:00PM tomorrow and SOX at 1:00PM tomorrow.
  15. Probably season ticket holders.
  16. Like the idea, but not gonna happen here.
  17. Ironic that Brasier was probably the reason Kelly was let go. Now they're both being used for mop up duty.
  18. Both the O's and KC are on pace to go 50-112 this season. Definitely need expansion.
  19. I don't think it was his back. He was in a slump, which even Mike Trout gets into once in a while.
  20. Btw, as great a defensive CF that Joe was, his brother Dom was even better.
  21. Joe was the better all-around player. When Ted was in the outfield, he was practicing his swing. He would have been the perfect DH.
  22. True. It's funny in that during the period Joe D had his 56 game hitting streak, Ted had a higher batting average.
  23. And E-rod was E-fficient.
