    In today's baseball this game could be described as a pitching duel.

    Why is it when another team's offense doesn't score against us, it's because our pitcher is pitching well. When our offense doesn't score against an opposing pitcher, it's because our offense sucks?

    Both pitchers have improved from the 1st. The difference is one gave up a 2 run homer, the other a grand salami. Thank you, Captain Obvious.

    Another stat that magnifies how bad MLB pitching is. The SOX BP is ranked 17th in MLB in ERA.

    Of those 10 the Rangers are at .500 and the Angels are 2 games over .500. The other 8 are all under .500.

    Just informed that there are 10 teams in MLB that have a higher ERA than the SOX starting staff. I'm guessing all those teams are under .500.

    Based on the numbering system 1-5 in ranking a starting rotation. Right now, imo, the SOX don't have a #1 or a #2. They have 3 #3's and 2 #5's.
