  1. They've shown a lot of patience during this 5 game stand. Not typical for SOX fans.
  2. You'll have to ask the Cisco Kid and Pancho.
  3. The Mets gave us a run and we're in no position to refuse it.
  4. At least they won't be doing waves. At least I don't think so.
  5. I agree. I expect to see a lot more brilliance from Beni as the season progresses.
  6. The SOX usually do well with 1st year managers. 3 World Series wins since 2004.
  7. With the SOX pitching staff one would not want spring training to end.
  8. Mets played that defensively as bad as Beni's baserunning.
  9. No, it's supposed to be done when they're babies.
  10. If you're old enough to remember the TV show GREEN ACRES, this is similar.
  11. I'm not really involved emotionally with this shortened season. I perceive it as an extension of spring training.
  12. If this shortened season is a joke, the SOX must be the punch line.
  13. This SOX team is so bad they should be sent to bed with no supper. Btw, this would be a good time to give Smoltz another shot.
  14. 'Arrive' and 'Survive.' Completely unintentional. Maybe I'm a poet and I don't even know it. Btw, the SOX are second in team batting average at .283. So there's that.
  15. Peraza J.D. Devers X-Man Pillar Chavis JBJ Plawecki Beni D. Peterson vs Matt Hall Just enjoy the games as they arrive. I seriously doubt this 60 game schedule will survive.
  16. And yes; games in July are just as important as games in September.
  17. One thing that hasn't changed this season is that the HP umpiring still sux.
  18. Here's a scary thought. If the SOX staff is allowing offense challenged teams like the O's and Mets to score a bunch of runs, what happens when the SOX face truly offensive teams? Be afraid, be very afraid.
