    And younger.

DEVERS DEliVERS! Devers may be thinking "so you all think Ohtani's good, I'm better."

Just keep Kike in CF please.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Devers and Ohtani. Brothers from different mothers.

It took Arroyo a while to adjust.

Personally, I would prefer Worcester over Disneyland.

    He's full of himself.

Suarez, much like yesterday's A's pitcher, has excellent stats.

I watched a video earlier today where they had Chavis Mic'd up during a couple of innings during a spring training game. Very likable and intelligent young man. I wish him the best.

Going from LA to Worcester. Talk about culture shock.

Just checked the SOX schedule. After the ASB the SOX will play 4 at Yankem bandbox.

This is no disrespect on Bloom, I think he's done a great job, but the unexpected success of this team, so far, may have put a crimp in Bloom's plans for this season. I would have to think that Bloom is as surprised as the rest of us where the SOX are right now.

That is funny. It's really got to be difficult to build a successful baseball team with a limited budget that's actually playing their games on a football field. Just added proof of how great a GM Billy Beane is and always has been.

Just informed that the last time the SOX won a series in Oakland was in 2016.

A definite YUP. I remember how much criticism Kimbrel took because he caused so much drama closing a lot of games. Playing for Boston is not easy and closing for Boston; that's even more stressful.

I'm fine with Barnes. I doubt another Koji is going to be knockin' on the SOX door anytime soon.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
No question; the SOX BP has made up for a lot of SOX weaknesses.

"You want the drama? You can't handle the drama!"
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Barnes has probably made himself unavailable tomorrow night.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    It's like Kimbrel never left.

With all that foul territory pitching half of your games in that ballpark has to lower your ERA. OTOH, as a batter playing half your games there definitely has to lower your BA.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Skye Bolt? Sounds like he's fast.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
VAZ has been 'nutless' for a while.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
In many batters' at bats it's swing hard in case you hit it. In Devers' at bats it's swing hard because you're likely to hit it.

6-9; four blind squirrels and only one found his nuts today.
