It does appear that way? So, what's the lesson? What is it that Red Sox fans like to discuss? Red Sox? Red Sox drama? Price has certainly provided a good deal of that. He was most definitely very open with his feelings about a number of things last year, and since coming to Boston for that matter. He's now jumped 2 Boston Sports reporters, and does not seem to care for the fans all that much. It seems natural that fans might discuss it when yet another problem with Price pops up. We paid THE HIGHEST PRICE in red Sox history for an #1 ACE of all ACES, but thus far have gotten a good deal of nebulous excuses, and somewhat less than crystal clear 'injuries.' Price starts talking 'tingling,' after a horrific outing, & yet again dances around the specifics, and you think guys aren't going to talk about it? He GOES OFF on 2 exceptionally mild Boston Sports Reporters / color guys last year, & you think guys are not going to talk about it? He has injury after injury, generally after a shyte outing, and you think guys aren't going to talk about it? He. Even says he talked to JDM about how difficult Boston is for certain athletes..... He very clearly embarrassed & mocked Eck last year, and had a posse to join in on it..... He seemed to be cultivating a culture of disdain with a number of young players for the Boston Sports Media & fans (fans to a somewhat lesser degree), which appeared to be exceptionally corrosive? I personally think he was leading our young guys down a very unhealthy path, and it most definitely was not in line with a winning attitude. I'm ALWAYS willing to turn the page with a guy, and give him a second, third, fourth, 10th chance...., so long as they are a Red Sox player!!! I will again and again with Price! Still, can we cut the s*** on pretending we have nothing to worry about with the guy!

Playing west coast games against east coast teams at 7:00 p.m. is f***ing ridiculous! Start those games at 5:00 p.m. People can get off early to go see the game. 6:00 p.m. at the latest! Besides. I LOVE Nuner, and aggressively advocated for his re-signing! The guy is a gamer! LOVE HIM! But he is hardly 100%. Pedey is 10 times the 2nd baseman! NO exaggeration! Pedey, while beat to s***, is also a better hitter, and I consider Nuner a + hitter. This ******** about Pedey not "going with the new program," is pure fantasy! He IS THE ULTIMATE Red Sox Gamer! Sure, he may have made some mistakes in dealing with the clubhouse last season. Who the f*** wouldn't? It was disfunctional! Completely disfunctional! Every time I think the little guy is done, he proves me wrong! Make me an idiot in 2018 Pedey! You are a dirtdog amongst lesser dirtdogs!!!

I've already seen several plays not made by Nunez that would be routine for Pedey. Does anyone NOT remember how Pedey carried this team with his bat last season? Do you forget the hundreds of spectacular plays he made last season? IF Pedey can come back strong, this will be a great problem to have. Has anyone noticed Nuner run the bases all out. He's still running full out on one leg, and skipping on the bad one. I could not be happier with Lin. He deserves to stay! I LOVE Nuner! Will Pedey go along with whatever style of play he is asked to? Absolutely!

Why on earth would you choose to think about it rationally, when it's just as easy to over-react. Look, the timing was absolutely too perfect. Was something bugging him physically? No doubt. It seems there's always something bugging him when the timing is right. Do I still think he milked the length of the rehab last year. I just do. Speaking of thinking "rationally," what was remotely rational about Price jumping Eck on that plane? Humiliating him, and sicking his posse on him? Eck is the best thing going at NESN, and he is hardly tough on players. What was rational about Price jumping that other reporter a month or thereabouts earlier. Getting in his face, and reading him the riot act? What was remotely rational about that? Look.... I'm not trying to stir s*** up again about Price. As far as I was concerned, bygones were bygones... Like with Lackey, whom I destroyed, once he came back and went to work in 13, I was over it day 1. But I'm simply not going to pretend Price doesn't have "issues." The guy is exceptionally emotional, and I absolutely believe he was 150% CAUTIOUS in going on the DL the day the s*** hit the fan with Eck. THE DAY of his next start in Boston. It was predicted that they might hold him off, but he did it for them THAT DAY. Then 1 start turned into the rest of t he year. I guess he could never tell the trainers, "that he 'FELT' good enough to go." You buy it. I don't. NO WORRIES! I guess I'm just going to be extra 'CAUTIOUS' with this latest return with Price. I don't want to make a mistake an rush it.

Finally, Boston getting heads up base - running this year! It was a great play, too close to call with your eyes. Beni definitely barely got his hand on home plate, with the tag a s p l I t second after, but definitively after & on top of his hand. GREAT base running, but a huge BONE - JOB!

Beni on 2nd, Mooreland shoots one up the middle, Beni goes home, play at the plate, catcher with another amazing swipe tag, Beni barely gets his hand on the plate, called out. He was SAFE on freeze frame. Call upheld. ********!

All they had to do was freeze frame that from the right angle. I did it. ********!
