    AGREED! IF he had lost, I would be BITCHING about the Dice-K pace of the game! It's a bit brutal to watch, but winning makes the time SEEM TO fly. Now I'm freaking out that there are 3 innings to go after this.....

    It was hysterical. My wife swooned.... Until I showed her a recent picture. She said, "why not Tek?" She claims to still have a hall pass with Tek. My Heidi Watney hall pass has however apparently been revoked? WTF!

    My wife is a genuinely very nice girl. It helps that she's cute as hell. She's also fearless. It also helps to have the young 10 yr old prototypical red-headed irishman with us. Seattle is seriously the BEST PLACE to see a Sox series. We did our honeymoon at the Sox series 12 years ago there, then went up to the islands. Seattle is a sea of Red during any Sox series. Absolutely the best place to catch a Sox series, as it's as though you have such a kinship with every one of the 20,000+ Red Sox fans in town.

    I think that's why he was hanging with Holt & Abad. All 3 were very cool. Took pictures with my 10 yr old Ginger. Kimbrel was digging the red hair!

    LOL :0 When she's in line behind him at Starbucks, I'm sitting outside at a little table. She's texting me to get in there & talk to him. I say, "I'm NOT stalking Pedey! You're probably scaring the guy by now! He still has the baby, & he appears to be holding it tighter!" LOL :0 Can't believe he gives her the autograph at the bus. I never move, & frankly pretend I don't know her. She also got Price's in that line, but was terrified of him. She said he just grunted & scowled at her. But still signed her Sox purse. Last year she chats it up with Kimbrel, Abad, Holt. Kimbrel was nice as hell. Stopped & said hello to me too. He's SHORT!

    LOVE THE GUY! Funny story... my wife & I always go to the Red Sox series in Seattle. We wait in the Starbucks on the ground floor of their hotel every year, about 4 hours pre-game. You see pretty much every player, save Papi. Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone. She's gotten about every Sox autograph, including "THE VERY SCARY Price (her words)." The guys catch the bus outside. Met Beni & his family on his first day in the bigs there. So, a couple years ago, she catches Pedey in the elevator. He's carrying his baby, but undeterred, she asks for the autograph. He says, "I'm holding my baby." Later, she catches him in line at Starbucks. Still holding the baby. The bus driver inexplicably lets her stand right next to the bus door. (Ok... she's really cute!) Then comes Pedey. The look on his face was "STALKER!" Then he laughs & gives her a quick signature. LOVE THIS GUY! It will be almost as hard losing Pedey as it was losing Papi!
