Not to mention the fact that the NYY at least have an excuse for their pathetic start. It's pretty tough to accept the FACT that the Red Sox simply did not come into the season ready to play. It's even more maddening to have watched them baby our players, under the auspices of "resting" & not pushing guys. It is axiomatic that guys get hurt when they are not ready to play, & it seems CLEAR that the SR was held back. I TOTALLY GET not wanting to push a pitcher beyond his limits, but the systemic under-preparation seems ridiculous at best, and grossly irresponsible & flat ass stupid at worst.

No doubt, between this & the SR pitching, it seems that too many players have come back ill-prepared. Tough to know for sure why, but it feels systemic, in which case the buck has to stop with Cora. Pretty tough to knock him very hard, as last year was sheer magic. He automatically gets "a pass." At least for a while... I'm wondering if the "hangover" thing is for real? After making it to opening day in Seattle, this is the first year in 20+ years I can't seem to get plugged back in? Whatever the case.... too many of our guys just are not ready to go. This ain't gonna fly for too long, as fans will vote with their feet. What Have You Done For Me Lately is inevitably knocking at the door, & he will soon kick the door in and his friends Pissed & Disgusted are about to take out their wrath on THIS YEAR's Red Sox Team.

If not, then I apologize. I can honestly say that it does seem disrespectful to me, as Esther Rolle was a fantastic actress. I've seen someone else use that year ago, and their intention were not pure at all. If you meant no disrespect, I hear that. I don't like it, but it's not for me to judge.

I hear you. You don't have to do anything to get on Pike's hit list, other than post something random that sets him off. After that, it quickly goes to him making stuff up about you, & rabid meltdowns.... Anyway... whether this was Pike or not, I trust the guy is banned. I also trust that Pike is banned whenever his aliases pop up? Moving on . . .

Well, Slasher has every reason to believe it could be Pike, as Pike is certainly capable of this type of totally unhinged meltdown & scorched earth posting. It's hard to imagine unless you've seen it hundreds of times, but I most definitely would not put it past him. Truly sick accusations. Whoever BstHcpr is though, had some 600 posts though, & I thought Pike had been bounced. Still Pike is known to always have multiple identities on any Red Sox board.

Ugly & disgusting accusations about a long time member, with zero proof. Also the accuser was posting explicit gay porn. Just completely bizzaro! It should not be repeated. If it really is Pike, there is NO DOUBT it has to be ********. He is one twisted "F," & will say anything about anybody when he cycles down. I know personally the lies he can spew. Obviously, the allegations are horrific, but I most certainly would never want to be judged by a single thing Pike ever said.
