  5. So far the following managers have been dismissed from their previous position: AL Royals - Ned Yost Angels - Brad Ausmus NL Giants - Bruce Bochy (Retiring) Padres - Andy Green Pirates - Clint Hurdle Cubs - Joe Maddon Mets - Mickey Callaway Phillies - Gabe Kapler I don't remember an offseason with so many managers fired like this one and Dave Roberts might join them pretty soon after the way the dodgers were eliminated last night
  6. I feel bad for the guy, great career likely a first ballot hall of fame career, but he has not able to dominate in the postseason
  7. Braves out, lost 13 - 1 Now the Cardinals will wait for the winner of Dodgers - Nationals
  8. WTF!!!!! it loks like they will kick them out
  9. Me neither, I just don't see him playing for the Sox, I bet he stays with the Yankees or go to the Mets. I don't see him leaving NYC
  10. At the end, I'm happy they both are using their best pitchers for the ALCS
  11. Glasnow vs Cole, this should be fun to watch a pitchers match Glasnow was injured for most of the season but he had a terrific season in fact he beats Cole almost in every category (with a far smaller sample only 60IP)
  12. they have a great BP, if they make it to the 5th with the lead, it will be very hard for Astros to come back
  13. Rays score first, 3 - 0 in the first
  14. I hope they go to a fifth game and the Rays pull the win; if not, at least the Astros will be forced to use Greinke for game 1st in the ALCS.
  15. He's out, let's see who do you get to fill this spot
  16. By the way, the game yesterday was closer than it looks, the Twinkies just didn't have the spirit to pull it off, a lot of close plays (specially in the fielding) went the Yanks way and they got discouraged, at the end they just rolled over
  17. One down, two more to go
  18. Against all odds the Rays take 1, I'd like to Rays to win the series but I'll be happy if they go to 5 games (and play some 18 innings game)
  19. The Braves the 2nd game 3 - 0, this battle will go to 5 games
  20. Astros kicking the cr... out of the Rays
  21. I agree, The Angels ownership likes the guy, there's no indication he's leaving SoCal anytime soon
  22. Interesting, a former Yankee executive with Boston
  23. That would be something !! lol The Muts are really considering Showelter, they are a fricking joke
  24. Rays will be very hard to beat, they just knocked out one of the hottest teams. Astros better be ready, this won't be easy
