  1. Espi is so far away right now have no idea how he's going to turn out. Pom if he stays healthy should be a solid 3. It will be interesting to see how this trade turns out. I was fine with the deal at the time we were badly in need of another starter, and had Groome and Kopech.
  2. Very difficult to reach 100 wins, but I believe this team in my lifetime has the best chance.
  3. Love Ortiz but he did clog up the bases last year. Obviously we will miss his bat, but I believe the production in left field will be greater. I know the reservations about Pablo, but remember how bad Shaw was from June on last Year. I think Pablo can hit 270 to 280 with 15 to 20 homers and ops around 800. My biggest concern is catcher have very little faith in Leon matching last year, hope for a short leash and an uptick in Swiharts defense. Overall I think the runs might fall a little short, but would not be surprised if they match it.
  4. We have a now team with 3 top 20 prospects. Yes our depth is hurt we no longer have the cache to trade for a top of the rotation starter or a great hitter, but probably will not be a need for us for a few years. We will have the ability to sign and trade for role players to fill in holes we might need.
  5. Will not have the advantages of the past, hopefully they will find a new advantage. I do like they made Romero an asst. Gm he seems to be a great evaluator of talent in Latin America.
  6. Very impressive after trading so many prospects we still have 3 top 20, along with our young core. And have added Sale, Kimbrel, pomerantz and Thornburg.
  7. Hi first time posting on this forum, have been a diehard fan since 72. Grew up a half hour away from Yankee stadium in the 70s that was not easy. Have very much appreciated our current ownership group after so many frustrating years. That said this is possibly the most talented sox team in my lifetime, offensively, defensively, pitching and even baserunning. They should have won more then 93 games last year based on the run differential and the amount of one run losses, with better luck this year they might be able to reach 100 wins which would be the first time in my lifetime.
