  1. Agree Moonslav
  2. Can't wait for Harmony to post Swiharts projections.
  3. I obviously don't find it stupid, already Farrell mentioned his framing with an adjustment has improved. Again I know it will hurt depth but do not like Leon's bat at all and not going to be hard to find a replacement level catcher available to stash in Pawtucket. I believe Norris was designated for assignment by Washington yesterday.
  4. Would not be surprised to see Swihart win the job out of spring training, I know it hurts our flexibility, but have no faith in Leon.
  5. MLB network
  6. Moreland career 780 ops against righties, Sandavol think can easily beat his 744 from 2015, considering his shoulder injury and the shape he was in. Even if he doesn't beat the 744,for the seventh and eighth spots in the lineup it is much better then league average.
  7. Sandavol and Moreland are very good against righties.
  8. I'm pretty sure Price will be pitching maybe not in April but by May. Threw the ball 25 times into a net yesterday, and felt fine so he repeated it today. If concern was great the sox would not risk this so early in the process, have a lot of money invested in him. I would rate Fister behind Elias and Johnson also. Velazquez has also been interesting.
  9. Probably not going to guess he misses the first month of the season.
  10. I don't agree with the WBC because of the money owed the players and how much a serious injury can hurt a team. Owners have everything to lose ang almost nothing to gain. That being said, how can last nights game not get you excited. The Dominican crowd had that stadium shaking.
  11. Andrew Miller is taking a beating.
  12. You should be optimistic, 10 days after the original report he is throwing. Nothing negative has been reported since he visited the 2 experts on elbows. I have no knowledge how the elbow works, but I trust the 2 experts and the Sox. Especially since they have almost 190 million still left on the contract.
  13. not sure he would take a minors deal probably waiting for a injury to happen and a team gets desperate. The only pitcher I would take him over right now is Owens(you forgot Kendrick), he is stuff has drastically declined over the last couple of years.
  14. I'll be in. Was not that excited about it, but there have been some great games. Fun to watch the excitement of the players. Also jonesing for games that mean something.
  15. I'm hoping Brian Bannister has worked with Kendrick and figured something out. He has been impressive. Owens just seems totally lost, I think he is around our 10th option.
  16. Don't think Farrell is going to want to move Beni around the order.
  17. Price had 25 throws into a net today, Farrell said he had free range of motion. Good news
  18. When Young is playing I would shift Pablo and Bradley one spot down and bat him sixth.
  19. Just as important as ideally where each hitter should hit, is the breaking up of all the righties at the top of the order. I do want Betts to get as many at bats as possible, so I would place him second. Pedroia Betts Beni Ramirez Boegarts Sandavol Bradley Moreland Catcher, unless it's Swihart.
  20. That's why it's a crapshoot there is no way of telling. Pitchers with clean deliveries have had it, and pitchers with violent deliveries have avoided it, you just never know. Hopefully with the research being done they will be able to detect players that are prone to it and help them avoid it.
  21. It is a crapshoot, you just cross your fingers and wish for the best. The previous offseason did not want to go near Cueto thought his elbow was going to blow out, and thought Price was the much safer bet.
  22. I don't think anyone can accurately pick who is going to end up with the surgery.
  23. Almost every pitcher now is a candidate for TJ surgery.
  24. Not sure but my guess is it all counts
  25. That is optimistic. The biggest issue is if they put him back on the 40 man roster his salary will count and that would put them over the luxury tax. Not sure they would be willing to do that.
