If Erod and you keep pitching like this. Gone will be... Farrell, Willis... bet on that. Ask yourself this real talk here, if Farrell managed the Yankees from Aug 1st until now, where do you think they be. I'm serious . I'm not even joking.

I've noticed . I'm just keeping it to myself. He's missing a lot of pitches down the middle. The balls that would be hit for extra bases are becoming ground outs to third. It's called pressing and more of it.

I agree. I would have not taken the chance. But D came in 2-3 steps in on the two hopper , But I agree not worth the risk. Plus he is running with the brace on. Not the time to test it out.

Beni should have got to third on that play. He was hesitant. At the moment it may have meant something. In the long run it will mean nothing.

Erod is a backend starter a 4/5 . Nothing more or less. Nobody or any stat will tell me different. I have good eyes.

It's to late by the time Farrell takes him out it could be 4-0 or 5-0. Sort of like the horse leaving the barn.

I like Remy he said the location of that pitch wasn't bad it was kind of down the middle. If you can't get Butler out you don't deserve to be a third starter.

Max, you could be right about Erod .They sent him down after allowing 9 runs against Tsmpa in two innings. He went down to Pawtucket for a week and was cured of all his problems. He has pitched well. But with Tanaka on the other side , he's got to hold them.

The bats need to wake up. I know that Tanaka is a very good pitcher. It's not going to be easy if Erod can't keep this 2-0.

Wright unlikely to come back. Do you want Henry Owens to pitch over Erod or Buchholz.. Pomeranz is the #3 starter.

Rusney is a bust. He couldn't couldn't get called up during Beni's injury..... He's a bust. He doesn't have a sense of the MLB game. That goes for base running, throwing to the cut off man. We all get fooled in BP when scouting and body muscle mass type of stuff. When you have a 10 cent brain the rest doesn't matter. Plus if Farrell is still the manager here, he is never going to get called up..... I like players that are sound like Pedy that eat and drink baseball. When losing bothers them. That get pissed when they lose.

Mookie Betts, was saying Gausman's fastball was 92 on one pitch , on the next one was 98. He painted the corners all night. When it jumps on you an average of 5/6 mph its tough to time it. The approach go the other way, which he did on the single to right. They where over swinging last night. I will give Gausman all the credit in the world. He was 1-9 coming in , He pitched great. But Bellhorn the poster on here brought up a stat ,he's pitched good of late. This time of year that, is all that matters. I'm getting sick and tired of these low one run losses. They can't do anything about it. They have to fight through it.
