  1. Durbin Feltman just gave up a Grand Slam for Portland.
  2. Again with 2 outs, nice.
  3. 9-1 lead in 3rd inning, have to take it easy too, on the E-Rod is on track again. Then another 5 runs, I went back and forth on this game, this game was over in 4th inning. It will take a little more to see if ERod is efficient on his pitches. Sorry, the ole leopard and spot thing.
  4. What a game, Bruins 4-3. Unreal 3rd period.
  5. Huge period coming up for the Bruins!!!
  6. That kid is on fire! Back to the Bruins.
  7. July 19 1978 14 games up on the Yankees. Really we getting into this now, about season is almost over. https://www3.bostonglobe.com/2014/06/06/the-red-sox-collapse/LLvZRH9ti832LPnxToyvbJ/story.html?arc404=true
  8. Chatham 5-7 in DH. Hitting .329. Put the Kibosh on him though, had a throwing error.
  9. Pedroia 0-3, with 3 men LOB, last night in Portland. Kid we should keep an eye on is CJ Chatham, only 24 years old and playing SS at Double AA. Jumped 3 leagues in 1 year. Hitting, .295. Really only kid that impressed me the other day. Has only 1 error so far this year.
  10. I would flip it, put Duran in Pawtucket, and Rusney in Greenfield. At least that's a future, some sort of plan. Now, they really look like idiots.
  11. Yep, what the Sox should do and stop making mistakes, and let him go, get paid, and let another kid go to Pawtucket. Now, he's wasting Roster space. He's in no plans, for the future. So stop wasting it for another kid.
  12. If I was Rusney I would be pissed off, if they called me up. 11+million, next year 14 Million, No pressure, nothing to worry about. Living wonderful, I'm sure. Family set. I bet he's the happiest Man, who ever signed a Major League contract. Or at least its up there, with other signings. 58 + million and only 89 games in the Majors. Wonder what it breaks down, to pitches he faced.
  13. Got back from Portland game with Hartford, Portland overmatched, 3 hits only. Dalbec didn't look too good 2 K's. Hitting .188 at this point. Tougher League, against some older Pitchers, expect it for now.
  14. What E-Rod does is force other Starters to go deep. Manager, has to constantly work his BP, so they can get rest. Games, that might be able to win, you have to Manage differently. Me if I was his Manager, I would tell him before the game, your going 7 whether you throw 100 pitches or 200 Pitches. Cora last year, was disgusted with him. He doesn't take Coaching good. They keep tell him to pound the strike zone, for some reason, it don't take. Enough babying him. It's not the ERA with him, its the residual effects, on his ineffectiveness to go deep. Love his talent, but he is annoying. I hardly watch his games.
  15. This ^^^ His biggest downfall is he thinks he's a Power Hitter, in the wrong Park. Left Field Wall is the greatest thing for SMART lefthanded hitters.
  16. E-Rod is the Spanish Dice K. 97 pitches in Four and two thirds of a inning. Talk about killing Bullpens.
  17. Darwinzon Hernandez had a tough night. Two thirds of an inning gave up 5 runs, that was his night.
  18. Just not about the June Draft.
  19. I think we rank 29th in kids 21 and under, before the season. https://www.milb.com/milb/news/farm-system-rankings-21-and-under-talent/c-304402418
  20. Its important to keep an eye on a guys age when following the Minor Leagues. See how they are progressing.
  21. Fitzgerald is weird, he is 24 years old, 25 in June, wasn't Drafted, and just in High A Ball. Graduated late I guess. Signed as a FA. We'll see if it continues with him. By this age should be in Double AA at least. Saw Duran play for Lowell last year, nice swing, but don't expect a lot of Power. He'll be 23 in Sept. right on track with him. He basically skipped Single A Ball. And is still hitting. Nice. He jumps to Double AA this year, and continues, now we really got something. Drafted in 2018, and Double AA by 2019, that's sweet. Bennintendi kind of stuff.
