    Read a funny article last night on USA Sports, it said tell Stanton, to take his time, the Yanks don't need him, at the moment. The kids are doing fine.

    Going to Portland Game this morning against the Yard Goats. Get to see my kid Denyi Reyes pitch. Portland is 16-33 the Yard Goats are good, 29-22. We'll see how Mr. Dalbec is progressing. Facing a good Pitcher, Goudeau 3-2, 2.03 ERA.

    You saw what the Blues can do. They can beat the snot out of you. And they can skate, they are not SLOW. If anybody watched Game 5 against the Sharks, never mind the Dallas series, I knew this will be a War. OT last night looked like a Blues Power play. Bruins looked tired and beat. Blues get better as series go on, and this scares me as a Bruin Fan. We needed that 2-0 edge.

    Steinbrenner if alive, didn't care. Once your in, and you spent so much, might as well go all in. Final take on this. I think the Minors is the way to go too.

    I guess your not getting my point, no problem. He is handcuffed, if knowing before the season you were going over the Luxury Tax anyway, but Owner told him not to go over the High Luxury Tax penalty. Your limited. Don't go by what was spent already for a Championship. That's giving.

    So your saying Henry told him its OK to spend? From what I have been reading all year, Henry wanted to stay under the High Luxury Tax penalty. So in a way it seems Dombrowski is handcuffed some. Some guys that are not contributing, that are not here, hand-cuffed Dombrowski too.

    Does the Owner tell how much a GM can spend, or cant. When your looking at crap going downhill, you should usually look at the Top of the Hill.

    With so many games in a Baseball season, 2 game swings are not that big. But, with the Yankees losing, and then the Sox losing, late this was a 2 game swing, at least to me. With a 4 game series in New York, you want to bring down that lead as much as you can going there. You never know a game like this will be a difference later in the season.

    Greenberg lost 47 months, due to military service, the longest on any Major Leaguer in history. (Basically 5 years) Bet people don't know Willie Mays lost basically 2 years due to military service.
