DSL started today, keep an eye on kids, real kids, 18 and under. Sox DSL teams won today.

Can a weak BP beat the weaker teams? Cant have Starters pitch good for 6 or 7 innings, then lose it later on in the game, especially just leading by 1 or 2 Runs. Those are must win games.

2 HRS for Dalbec yesterday, last HR for him was 9 games ago (25 AB's), and little slump for Duran, last 10 games only hitting .351. Here's something funny, last 10 games for Dalbec, he has 42 AB's, with 0 BB's. Must swing at everything. Don't like this tells me he's not a selective hitter. When I saw him the other day, he struck out on Pitches that were not strikes, 2 times.

Sox need to send a message to these clowns in the next 2 games, that were still here. 2 Beatdowns would be nice, but I'll take a 9th inning come back just as good. We need the next 2 games, bad. Good smart baseball, every at bat and pitch counts. Start getting the mindset, every game is a Wildcard. Play-off baseball mentality.

Yeah, that's funny. But the Sox repeated as Division Champions. What 3 years in a row. You would think the money doled out, we should do it again. Good thing Tampa lost last night otherwise we would have 2 teams in front of us with 9 less losses. That's going to be the problem jumping over 2 teams to win it this year. Go to hope 2 teams start having a slump and the Sox get hot.

9 in the loss column behind the Yanks, were getting near that critical time, of 10+ in the loss column. Even this early. Sox have to respond, and start playing like champions. Good teams do this in EVERY sport.

Losses happen, were Baseball Fans. Here's the problem, when your chasing you have to minimize losses, especially when you have the lead, and a pretty good one going into the 9th. Pretty much a wasted game for me, you got the good starting pitching, and the Offense was enough to win even if you surrendered a run, in this case 2 to win 3 to tie. With the Yankees losing, you gave them a game. Didn't matter if they lost. When your chasing, you got to make them matter. You cannot take the long season for granted, when your behind. Urgency matters, even now.

Had to leave at the bottom of the 8th for work Portland leading 2-1, Reyes pitched a beauty 6 innings 1 hit, 7 K's. Dalbec got an RBI Double after striking out twice, Brian Johnson in the bottom of 7th, getting hit pretty hard. Looks like crap. I guess the Yard Goats just tied it off Johnson.

Agree, not much in the Minors for Trade bait. Besides you have to think other teams might be looking too, and they might have better Prospects to offer.

OK so he doesn't retire, you got Sandoval, Porcello, Pearce, coming off. Don't worry about 1st Round Picks, crap shoot anyway. Trey Ball's name ring a bell. Sox need to lengthen their BP, for the Starters this year.

If I were the Sox I would sign him, this year's money wont be for a full year, you'll pay some Luxury Tax, but next year some money will come off the books, heck Pedey might retire, we should be able to afford him, and get a Closer. Were not getting a Draft Pick, so a little penalty now, and get the 9th inning shut down. Regular season we need Kimbrel, against the many bum teams in Major League baseball, including the Guardians.
