Last 5 games Starters 19.2 innings, 8.24 ERA, 2.03 WHIP. Not ideal when your trying to avoid your BP. BP has thrown 24.1 innings. Your not even getting 4 innings a start. This kills BP's.

Right now, 48% is the quality starts our starters have thrown this year so far. Terrible.

Our starters right now have almost a full earned run from last year, last year we had a 3.77 ERA from our Starters, and Sale was injured much of the last 2 Months, right now at this moment our Starters have a 4.70 ERA at this moment, 5th starter didn't help, but all our Starters are not what they were last year. And it's showing in the Standings. What's the reason almost a FULL run, from one of the most expensive staffs paid? And with Porcello gone after this year, it probably will get worse, next year. Pitching is everything Baseball.

5th Starters should easily be found in the Minors, for what is asked of them. Think about that for the future, this Farm cannot even develop a decent 5th starter. This team better get the lead out this year.

You got 3 guys in top 10 in this great WAR stat, and yet were 4 games over .500. Everything beautiful. No need to Trade. Trust WAR. Houston got 3 guys too and they are 23 games over. Its coming.

Sanchez in a slump, last 30 days hitting .229. Happ has given up 20 HRS already, in 84 innings. For Tampa Meadows in a big slump too, hitting .183 last 30 days.

Unreal.2.96 era for what 7.00 era , I think I would. Yes, I would rather prevent runs more. Lot of runs. Wonder why Earl Weaver always said "only thing that matters on the Diamond, is that little lump of dirt in the middle". Pitching is everything, you must not be that old, if you don't remember the great 78 team and all their hitting. Yanks beat them because of the Pitching, in the long run.

Sale with Velasquez as his Catcher this year, 31 innings, 23 ER's, 9 HRS. Sale with Leon, 76 innings, 25 ER's, 7 HRS. Huge difference in strikeouts too. 76 innings 122 K's with Leon. 31 innings 31 K's with Velasquez. Tells me big difference how each call a game with Sale. This has been included with last nights game.

Last year we went 31-7 in games between Toronto and Baltimore, .815 winning % at this point we are 12-7 against them. *Rechecked, were 12-8 against them.

Guardians won we lost for last WC spot, were 3 games behind them in the loss column.

Benni should be a .300+ hitter, and RBI producer.

Here's a guy that screwed his swing up because of the launch angle, and exit velocity. Benni at his best uses the whole field.

I like Steve Pearce, sorry he's hurting. He was my vote for MVP in WS last year over Price. Got HUGE hits, to help Sox win it. Games 4+5 7 RBI's, to seal the deal. In that WS Pearce got 5, 2 out RBI's. That's the Clutch we miss.
