  1. https://franchisesports.co.uk/boston-red-sox-search-for-starter-wont-be-easy/
  2. Guerrero won the Double AA HR Derby last year. Amazing last year Double AA, this year million bucks, he's my favorite. Young Buck that wont get tired.
  3. My 2- Homer Bailey or Wade Lablanc. Reason cost, Luxury Tax and Prospects.
  4. Duffy will cost the Sox 5 million rest of season. Wheeler almost 2 million Boyd will cost the last good Prospects, we have. Forget Stroman, Yanks want him they have better Prospects. Cashner is owed 3.166 rest of season.
  5. At that price, who cares. Have time to look for another, this year he's been better, has 90 innings. Perfect for the 5th starter.
  6. Pitched 2 no-hitters, I might have named my kid Homer.
  7. I watched Homer Bailey pitch against the Guardians, he was hitting 94-95 pretty consistently, and for that team to have a winning record says something. he's super cheap, Dodgers paying his salary, I would definitely take the chance on him as a 5th starter. Were not talking Koufax here, just steady pretty good pitcher. He pitched in one of the best hitters Parks in baseball for years with the Reds, Fenway shouldn't bother him too much. He's owed 183,333 for rest of season.
  8. Rick would do good in a Ballpark like Oakland, or SF. Dodger stadium too. Seems like everyone we don't sign Theo jumps on it.
  9. Guardians play 14 games out of 19 games against some real bad teams, keep an eye on that.
  10. Dodgers are human when they are on the road, different team. 23-20 And Pitchers have 4.28 ERA on the road. Even higher then ours. 4.18 we have on the road. Different hitting team too on the road. .251 I think we can clobber them again.
  11. Yeah, might be but the other years the Sox never made the Play-offs, I think that was the point. Of course with the addition of the WC it makes it easier. These are other years. 2015 2014 2012 2000 Not sure if they made it then. They had 48 wins. Looked it up, did not make it.
  12. Saw that haha!
  13. 14 games between Yanks and Tampa by Aug 4. Might determine if we sell or buy. 2 weeks straight either Yanks or Rays, wow. Our record right now is 5-11 against both of them.
  14. Next 20 of 34 games are against A Division Leader, or a WC Leader, or in the hunt. If you count the Angels its, 24 out of 34. This is huge part of season. Those 10 games between the O's, Toronto, and KC, you better win.
  15. Agree 100% nobody pitches inside anymore. These guys, have no fear at the plate, at all.
  16. Here's another from Bostonsportsinf Through 90 games this 2019 team will be the 5th team not to reach 50 wins or more, in last 22 years.
  17. Of course its not. This is through BostonSportsInf.com Best twitter site on Boston Stats for all the teams. Swear, this guy never sleeps. Though 86 games (not up to date) 2019 Team BP ERA 4.43 2018 3.17. Up 1.26 Remember runs allowed that were inherited, don't go against the BP.
  18. Dalbec made another error yesterday his 14th. No sense to bring this up again. Different opinions.
  19. Only Sox Future Game Rep is Jarren Duran.
  20. Your right my mistake sorry.
  21. Didn't he get lite up by the Yanks last week? Don't think he recorded an out.
  22. Got to get him, cant put tying run at the plate.
  23. Crazy as this sounds not sure you want Tampa to win, Guardians winning too. Sox gain nothing on WC. Just the Yanks.
  24. What a bad team. Lots of work ahead for the Tigers. Lucky they have a strong Farm system as far as Pitching goes. They are ranked #5 at the moment. Casey Mize should be in the Majors next year.
  25. If we could play the Tigers everyday, I would never complain.
