    Need to look game by game on this. Today you don't have Pitchers that control a whole game by going 9 innings. That's when the Won and Loss record really mattered.

    Dodgers got plenty of money too. That's what kids that hit in the Majors do for you. Keeps spending down. Biggest reason why you invest in the Farm. I would pay Scouts, the real good ones, great money. You'll get your investment back 10 fold.

    JBJ is slumping a bit. Since July 3rd hitting .161. I read. Last 15 games .185. 10 for 54. Go back to hitting to Left.

    Play better on the road, rather have last WC. End of July 1st game at Fenway for the Yanks.

    Only 6 games left before the Deadline. On the 31st the Sox play Tampa at 7:00, so Deadline will be over. Huge next 6 games.

    Sox gained 1 game on last WC, by winning 2 out 3. We have to play the Yanks with urgency. A's play Texas Guardians play another Cupcake, against KC. Winning yesterday would have helped with the A's losing. Missed opportunity.

    Seems we play better baseball on the Road this year. That last WC will not upset me. Maybe they get Us against the World attitude.

    Yeah he has walked more this year then last. What we don't realize is he's young, only 22, he'll be 23 in Nov. That's pretty good progress for that age. 22 at Double AA, is above then most at that age.

    Not at the head, but High and tight at the Hands. Hardly ever see that.

    Pitchers don't head hunt today. Batters have no fear in the Batters Box. Very Rare. Most of these guys have more padding then a NFL player. Plus the Manfred Missile, hahahahahah.

    Of Course WAR on Pitching makes sense. Good Pitch game. Not talking about Pitching though, Taking about Run scored on Offense, that showed nothing in the Box Score. Base running? Passed Ball on a hard pitch to block? That the Pitcher wanted to throw. Significant contribution is this, it might take that 1 win to make the Play-offs, or maybe win a World Series. That's why its really important to really watch the game of baseball. Because there is so much in one single game, and every game different, makes it fun.

    Does this scenario count for WAR? And how do you determine it? Batter walks. Passed ball, or Wild Pitch, runners goes to 2nd. Batter up grounds to 2nd base, runner advances to 3rd. 1 Out. Infield back, ground ball to 2nd base, runner scores, batter Out. (Does he get credit for being smart situational hitter, seeing infield back, and all it takes is a ground Out to score a Run)? Score 1-0. No hits, no errors, just a walk. After 9 innings team wins 1-0. The word Win is there. WAR is Wins Above Replacement. Everybody makes outs. In the game of baseball, Outs wins games, Productive Outs, Helps win games. So confused here. Does WAR take into account Outs? Totally unproductive in the Box Score, but during game, it helped win a game.

    Denyi Reyes is 4-0 with a 1.04 ERA in July. Kid throws a lot of innings for a Minor Leaguer, hope he finishes strong. When I saw him he threw a 1 hitter, for 6 innings, that was it for him, and took him out.

    We cant pitch at home. Both Starters and Relievers. That's why I say become Road Warriors this year for Play-offs. Ranked 23rd at home with 5.00 ERA Road ranked 8th with a 4.35 ERA

    Month and half ago Giants were terrible, now just 2 games out of last WC. One hot streak that's all you need. Probably cost you an arm and leg for Bumgarner now.

    What were the Twins? They lost cant be much better.

    Read something don't know if this is true, but Sox should go after last WC spot don't worry about the first. Sox are 17-4 last 21 road games.
