  1. Must have mattered to Cora, to bring the Full Line-up back. Including Mookie, who has an injury.
  2. I guess you don't listen to Radio, on Post-Game, to a man, the Yanks said we don't want them to win it here. They want this series. You probably don't live close to here, so I can understand, you not getting the Radio for the Yanks and Sox.
  3. All the Yanks are fighting for is Homefield against Oakland, last few games against who they played has little meaning, but to hold off the Sox winning Division, when all the Sox have to do is win just 1, to me has a little meaning. Yanks play tough when their backs are against the wall, did it last year in the Play-offs too. In 2 weeks we should find out. All I'm saying is the Yanks are saying your not winning it all in our House, we don't care how good your record is. That's why the Sox have to win tonight.
  4. Seattle did same thing last night in their game. It might be catching on, if other teams are using it. Mariners won 9-0.
  5. If the shoe was flipped, you wouldn't want the Yanks clinching it at your Home Park either. That's why its important the Sox do it in NY. Send Yanks and Fans, a little message. Tonight's game big, not because of record, we got this, but if we play them, they wont be feeling so bad playing against us. Sweep is not good at this time of year. Baseball has a lot to do with the mind.
  6. Rays play 7 games against Toronto, 4 games against the Yanks. Probably over for the Rays, 5 in loss column. If they can get it down to even 3 by end of weekend, its not over. 4 games left with the Angels, 3 with the Twins, 3 against Seattle left. Last 6 on the road, for the A's.
  7. Since AS Break Sox have a dozen blown saves, most in the Majors. - Sean McAdam Ticking Time Bomb, or just something that happens. Who knows, but its a trend as a Sox Fan has me concerned. Good thing we got a big lead, when I read this.
  8. Kick Ass David. End it!
  9. Hope David kicks ass tonight and ends it, be perfect after the game he had in Yankee Stadium, a few Months back. Just Do IT! David.
  10. Here's the line-up for Aug. 2. we had no Bogaerts in this game. http://www.espn.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=380802102 Here's the line-up when Eovaldi pitched. Just Minor stuff. http://www.espn.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=380804102 If you want to put in Benni, OK. But we were more than capable of beating them last night and didn't.
  11. Devers didn't play when we swept them from Aug.2-Aug.6 . Eovaldi there then and had a hell of a game then. Basically just Betts was missing. Phillips was in because he hit Happ good before this, it didn't work out. He's not a Minor Leaguer, compared to kid like Lin or Travis. BP blew it that's that.
  12. Play-offs 3 things, Pitching #1, Defense, and timely hitting. The old simple way works for me.
  13. Tampa got some good Prospects coming up too. Including some good Pitching. They are playing good with this team, they should get better, in next 2 years. And they will be a cheap team on payroll.
  14. Devers is a .280-.300 hitter with Power to all fields, I think this new philosophy of swinging has hurt him this year. Hope he reverts back to his old way.
  15. I see on TV Pedroia was working with him on his footwork, went to last 2 PawSox games and Phillips was working with him on his footwork before both games. When Vets see a problem with this, so do I. Hope it doesn't cost us in Play-offs. When Devers is going to Left Field, his swing is on. For some reason this year he is pulling the ball more than I saw in the Minors last year. Probably reason why average is down.
  16. This ought to be great. https://www.mycentraljersey.com/story/sports/mlb/yankees/2018/09/18/john-sterling-new-york-ny-yankees-boston-red-sox-radio-switch-joe-castiglione-moved-nesn-wfan/1349463002/
  17. Sox are 5-16 last 21 games at Yankee Stadium.
  18. Tampa has the same record as Cleveland, started just a little too late to get hot.
  19. 29-15 when he was released, 74-32 since.
  20. He went to the Dodgers on a big Trade was to suppose to be the savior there too, did nothing. Dodgers glad to get rid of him.
  21. That's my feeling about him. Sorry you don't like it. All I know he was released on May 30, since that time, this team has played team baseball and looks different. They had a great poll on BSJ (Boston Sports Journal) on Hanley. Wish I could post it.
  22. How come he is so good, or a great Teammate He isn't resigned at Vet Minimum, it's a steal. You tell me. Isn't JD getting paid less then him or close, how did that work out.
  23. He's one 1 WS at what 21 years old, been on good teams since, and never went back. Did he carry the Red Sox like Ortiz? For the big money you paid him.
  24. When Hanley was here he was a hole hahahaha Different kind what I'm thinking.....it starts with a "A". Great move getting rid of that loser.
  25. At 22.750 million I expect these numbers. Don't you? It was the next year at 22.750 that was not good. Shaw had some good numbers at a much cheaper price in 2017. Best move this team did this year was get rid of that dead weight. Soon as he was gone, this team took off. Good Job, Mr. Cora.
