  1. With the Sox popgun lineup this game is over.
  2. It’s hard to believe given his pedigree, but JD has 1 HR in his last 30 games.
  3. Wow. Aaron Judge has 5.6 WAR, considerable more that last nights entire lineup with its 3.6 WAR
  4. Somewhat of a Red Sox speciality this season, the man on 3rd with none done who doesn’t score.
  5. He’s only left 5 on base so far…….
  6. The one thing Dalbec has mastered is the called 3rd strike
  7. Bloom still shopping in the dumpster
  8. Duran and Dugo is the same lineup just can’t happen next season. The hitting from the Sox outfield and DH spots have been truly abysmal. The typical quartet for the Yankees ( Stanton, Judge, Gallo, Carpenter ) have 75 HRs between them. Our typical 4 ( JBJ , Duran, Dugo, JD ) have 19 HRs combined. FFS the starting yankee 1st baseman has more HRs (22) than than the Red Sox current starting outfield and DH combined!!! Historically this would have to be right up there as one of the worst Red Sox outfield/DH combinations in terms of HR production in recent memory. Apparently 200 million doesn’t go very far these days.
  9. I am a big bogey fan, but this season his production stinks . He has 1 HR and 7 RBIs in his last 30 games batting clean up.
  10. Ref should be starting in RF or CF every game with this current roster
  11. WTF. When I last checked the score we were losing 1-0 ……….
  12. The Red Sox bullpen has 3 reliable arms and the rest are a crapshoot.
  13. Pivetta has now given up an astounding 20 runs in his last 3 starts
  14. The bottom of the lineup most nights is a black hole, and trading for a quality bat at 1st base would change that. The return of Whitlock has massively changed the quality of the bullpen, although I would still like to see the Sox trade for another quality right handed reliever.
  15. Ha! I would have love to have been there !
  16. Eovaldi had Rizzo 0-2 , then threw 4 uncompetitive pitches leading to the walk.
  17. The strike 3 to Dalbec was a foot of the plate. He truly is utterly useless
  18. I would only go to watch a game in that dump if I was paid a substantial sum
  19. Typical of a Sox loss, they were 1/10 with RISP. Putrid
  20. Cruising along then give up a 5 spot. They just flat out stink right now
  21. Zander still struggling in RBI situations , with only 5 RBIs in his last 7 games, and 10 in his last 30 games.
  22. I have written to John Henry and explained the influence I have had, and suggested to him that it’s in the teams best interests for him to ensure that I am at Fenway for all future home games against Yankees.
  23. We were visiting my American wife’s parents in Hot Springs, but I managed a cunning plan of stopping off in Boston for the weekend and seeing 2 games at Fenway. It was a true life highlight for me.
  24. That was a great come back win, and a pleasure to be at Fenway to witness 2 wins in a row to beat the Yankees. I’m flying back to NZ a very satisfied Red Sox fan.
