    He is on track for around 200 strike outs, which is abysmal . I would love to see make more contact, as he has very good speed. His OBP at .300 is the worst of his career.

    I love Story’s work at 2nd, and he has come through a lot with his RBIs. That said he has struck out in 90 of his 259 ABs(34.7%) which a ratio you would expect from a rookie, not a 7 year veteran. His doesn’t walk much either (24) Some improvement with the strike outs and walks would be welcome.

    JBJ slipping back into one of his hitting funks again, as he is 1 for his last 23 ABs

    More concerning is that the Sox have seen Gausman 3 times this season and still can’t touch him.

    This is the 3rd time this season Gausman has owned the Sox hitters . It will be interesting to see over the next few weeks if the Sox hitters can handle the better pitching they will be coming up against , as they have been feasting on the lesser lights for a few weeks .

    Good series win against a strong Cardinals club. I’m hoping that Bloom can make amends for the Sox Achilles heal, the weak ass bullpen at the trade deadline, to trade for some quality proven back end arm(s)
