Just arrived from BDC. Born and raised in Connecticut, I became a Sox fan at the age of 8 during that glorious summer of 1967. My favorite player was Dewey Evans; in Babe Ruth, High School and Legion ball, I would always ask for #24 if I could. My handle reflects that I have lived on the Illinois-Iowa border for the past 32 years. To date, I have been unsuccessful in convincing the locals that Sox are not White.
