If losing 4 out of 6, none by more than 3 runs and two by 1 run, bring this out in our fans, despite the 19-6 record, wait until we have a stretch where we're 15-17 or even 17-15.
I get the heat-of-the-moment frustration and anger, although I tend to not let any single game or moment get my emotions going, but we're seening hatred and spite hours later. Deep personal attacks on players' characters and extreme attacks on players' skill levels.
A one or two game win streak is the only thing that will stop it. No way the JBJ thread gets moved up, if he walks. One freakin' AB and he's crucified.
To be honest, I don't know how some people can't realize how unhealthy it is to have so much anger over such a trivial things, or worse yet, they realize it's a bad thing, but have little self-control. I'm not trying to say this in a mean or spiteful way; I'm hoping some posters can begin to enjoy baseball and life, even when some things don't go right.
I actually enjoyed last night's game. We fought back after falling behind early. We got some big hits and nice defensive plays (some by JBJ), and we ended up having a good chance at winning late in the game. We fell one big hit short. Why should one less hit make or break my evening?
(Note" I'm not trying to imply I'm better than anyone else, or that I don't get very frustrated at times watching the Sox, but we play 162 games for a reason. This isn't football. It's a misstep in a long marathon.)
