    I went to an opening day game there, years ago- the bullpen by committee season- where we blew a big lead in the bottom of the 9th (Chad Fox?) I didn't think the place was all that bad.

    This is another reason it's so hard to sweep. Cora seems to do this more than anyone else. He DH'd Bogey and others, recently, so I thought maybe he'd rest some of these guys a kittle less than his "norm." I'm still not sure why he does two at a time. Let's see if my man, Danny Santana can carry the load, again.

    Contrary to what some posters claimed, maybe as hyperbole, Dave never totally "emptied" or "gutted" the farm. He just nearly did. He kept Devers and a few others.

    ...until Arroyo returns. Both Santana and Arroyo hit righties better than Cordero. We could, however, see Santana at 1B vs some tough righties, as Dalbec has been really bad on that split.

    Well, Marwin was his first born.

    Duran went 5 for 5 (2 HRs & 2B) and brought his OPS over 1.000. Downs & Munoz homered, too. Portland: Meneses with 3 hits- Casas with 2. All 4 teams won.

    I'm assuming Arroyo replaces Cordero. The next question may be who does Duran replace? Chavis? Trade Santana? (Doubtful.) Trade Marwin? (He's Cora's guy, so no.) Go to 12 pitchers? (LOL) It has to be Chavis, despite him doing pretty well limited action.

    When Duran is called up, will Santana platoon at 1B, or will we move Kike back to 2B and have him platoon with Renfroe? Or, a little of both?

    Bogey passed JD in OPS, tonight. Danny Santana: here to stay. Kike getting on base, now. The pen gave us a scare but pulled us through.
