    Agreed- really good. Abreu is good. Anthony may become good, really good or great, but it might not be this year or even next. There is a slight hope Duran reverts to 2024 Duran, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Some discussed winter targets and their ages. CHC: Hoerner turns 29 soon and Matt Shaw 24. HOU: Paredes is 27 and Matthews is 24. LAA: Neto is 25 (not sure available) CIN: Matt McLain turns 27 this August but is at .631 since the start of 2025. Donovan is 29 and B Lowe is 31, but they did not have many years of control left.

    I don't think there are exceptions. If selected at age 18 or younger, it's 5 years/ 19 and older is 4 years then Rule 5. Valera is eligible DEC 2027, so maybe he pitches some in 2027, and we know more.

    Gasper homered again (6th) as did Eaton & Hickey in Woo's 9-7 loss in extra innings. Slaten pitched the first inning and did not allow a run. GRE lost 13-12 as Hernandez & YRod homered twice (7th & 8th) as did Yuten, Cespedes & White once. YRod is now at 1.006 and Cespedes at .992. Whitherspoon let up 3 ERs in 4 IP. POR was rained out. Salem is down 6-4 late.

    I admit, I did not think he had that many innings at SS, career, when I replied about the -3 number.

    Agreed, He's a bargain, now.

    Agreed. When I replied, I thought the -3 was over about 100 innings, but when I looked it was 600, which is not real bad, as I mentioned in the foillow-up. His -4 in 433 IP is pretty bad, but yes, for a Utility guy, it's passable.

    Agreed, but you shouldn't say a player is not bad because of just a -3 over 600 innings.

    I guess you won't answer. Fine. I do agree he wanted out, but I also think it's about the HRs, too. It is possible to have multiple reasons.

    That wasnt my question. I think it was also about the 2 HRs and maybe a little about Willson's slight pause while admiring his blast.
