  1. Especially feral cats.
  2. I used to have thread by the same name on the other site as a way to try and keep the wild posts on other threads. It did NOT work there, either.
  3. Well. you are a Yankee fan, so I was saying it like expected you to write about 2023, as a way of saying our 2022 was over, like expect you hope it is. It wasn't meant to be any sort of demand that you not start the next part.
  4. I'm far from upset. Why assume I'm upset just for saying start Part 1 of 2023? You guys read too much into many posts.
  5. I guess having 6 parts is fine.
  6. No. Why did I act like there was?
  7. That he wants a good agent? Is this a trick question?
  8. Why not just start the Realistic View at 2023 Part I?
  9. I thought the Yanks "fractured" when Reggie Jackson and Billy Martin went at it in the dugout during a nationwide broadcast. Fractures heal very quickly, at times.
  10. Are you replying to me, because you know I'm a Bucks fan?
  11. Fair enough. My whole point on the 14 year deal was that I'd give him what he's worth over 10-11 years but make it 14 to bring down the AVV and have the off-chance he might still be a plus years 12-14. He was pretty young, when I suggested 14 years. The $400M number was at my peak of desperation to keep Betts here. It wasn't the only numbers I threw out there back then. Fair game to bring up, though.
  12. That's why most board member would be terrible GMs.
  13. He's doing very well. He'll likely be called up to AAA, this season. 15 Ks 0 BBs Nothing is wrong.
  14. 17. I think the Sox saw the writing on the wall. They were never going to pay Bogey what they expect he'd make elsewhere, so they acted proactively, like it or not, and signed Story to be our SS after Bogey leaves. The offer they reportedly made Bogey shows they were never serious about paying him enough to keep him. No, they had no real interest in extending him.
  18. Nestle Cortez went 7.1 IP of no hit ball. The score is still 0-0 after Eli White singles. Holmes in relief, now.
  19. Exactly, my point is, he has shown he can get through 1-2 innings fine: make him the closer.
  20. I may have missed it, but do you have a better idea?
  21. He's gotten through 2 innings without allowing a run in 6 of his 7 appearances.
  22. Sounds like a plan.
  23. Not at the deadline.
  24. I think they'd let them pitch but with limited pitch counts.
