    Okay. You found a couple optimistic fans. The team was 8-19 in July. They are 9-12 in August. Maybe I'm just arguing semantics, but a team going 8-19 has already entered the "collapse" territory, and one could view 9-12 as maybe coming out of it a tiny bit. Anyway, kudos! You guys are great!

    I want Houck as our 2023 closer and Whitlock as out long/set-up man. What I listed is what I think the Sox plan might be. BTW, while Whitlock has not been great in all of 9 career starts, a 4.12 ERA is not "terrible."

    I continuously bashed Vaz for one thing and often said he was a net plus and did not want Leon or Plawecki taking away his starting role. The guy was a good hitting catcher. He did some defensive things pretty well, too. I just didn't like how he handled the staff, and you can see how much better they are doing, once he left. (LOL)

    Wrong, again. Poison is not something people are allergic to or not, silly! BTW, they changed the composition from powder to paste, so the dust would not get in Jack Haley's lungs, or he'd have had the same reaction. The paste did get in his eye, and he developed and infection (not an allergic reaction) and ended up needing eye surgery. (Maybe this is all just fake news or alternate facts.)

    GRE saw a couple nice feats: Yorke hit his 10th dinger. Wikelman went 4 shutout innings with 3 hits, 1 BB and 5 Ks. (His A+ ERA is now 3.38.)
