We've lost too many players for just comp picks. I would not mind seeing us extend Dugo and keep him around, but trading him for a helpful piece might work, too. No hate.

I hope the next GM embraces a balanced approach and not one end of the spectrum, like we have seemed to hire after Theo left. I'm all for a few prospect trades sprinkled into the resume. I'm all for more success with large and moderate FA signings. I'm all for a few gems in the roughs found here and there. I'm all for JH & Co. loosening up the pursestrings, this winter and beyond. I hope this isn't some lame attempt to shift blame and then not change the philosophy.

A .961 OPS Against the third time through does not mean he can never get through it. Nobody has said he never can, but it has and still is a major concern. Today was a good sign.

Here is one example: You say, "Bloom could have done better than Dugo, Wong and Downs" for Betts & half-Price. I brought up the fact that the only other reported offer was from the Padres and nobody else wanted Price. That is not defending Bloom in any sense. It's providing context to the choices he had, at the time. You then claimed "everyone" graded the trade as an "F," and I found multiple sources that did not. You never retracted your statement. Again, I could care less about what they graded the trade, and it wasn't "defending" Bloom. It was giving facts that you were getting wrong. You then internalize that I am a "Bloom supporter." It does not matter that I tell you I am not. You know me better than I do, and then cry when someone assumes something like you hate Cora and shortly afterwards apologizes for it.
