    i believe Cora has been doing a great job but i do have one observation from last night: i disagree 100% with sending Porcello back out to the mound after the long rain delay. IMO rookie manager mistake.

    the best part? after Kelly plunked him there was no closeup shot of Brock Holt yelling over to the Yankees "it's not me - it's them". brock understands the game of baseball. Joe Kelly is my new favorite Sox player. also, nice job by Porcello protecting hanram by hitting giancarlo.

    Like i said pages ago. this isn't a rivalry. yankees have to actually be good for it to be considered as such. personally i think the next 4 games are more of a rivalry.

    what's true is that even with his ever present lack of offense since he became a starting position player in the MLB - he has never had a negative WAR for a season. His defense is that good. ask Sale what he thinks. but yes, please prorate his WAR from 10 games for the entire season.

    this is post # 655 on a thread titled "should jackie bradley Jr be traded?". there is post after post complaining about his hitting. he is literally a plus WAR player if he doesnt get another basehit the rest of the season. people should be concerned that our #4 hitter with the big contract has warning track power. not worried about whether or not our #9 hitter who happens to be a defensive maestro gets a basehit in a 14-1 W.....

    i'm not counting on my #9 hitter to win playoff games with his bat. parades for the most part are built on pitching and defense and the occasional big papi dinger. i'm not asking my #9 hitter to be big papi. i'm asking him to prevent runs.

    FACT. the red sox medical staff / conditioning staff / injury preventative staff is the worst in the history of all of baseball on all the planets in the universe. there are up to 76,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars similar to ours and almost all of them have some form of planets. summary: our medical staff sucks.

    trolls say that the yankees wont lose a game this season! well, if their manager didn't blow the games! now that MLB has introduced the sanchez rule keeping that prick from walking to the f***ing mound after every god damn pitch hopefully this 9 inning game will be less than 4 hours. f*** the yankees. thunder getting head tonight.     i'd rather have hanram next year and be done then have kimbrell earning $18MM per for the next 5 seasons. if you're telling me i can have kimbrell for 1 season in 2019 and then be done then i would go with kimbrell. but that aint happening.
